Abstract
Perkebunan merupakan aspek terpenting dalam pemandangan ekonomi di Indonesia pada masa kolonial. Usaha perkebunan yang semula diadakan di Jawa, menjelang akhir abad ke -19 mulai dikembangkan dan meluas diluar pulau Jawa, khususnya Sumatera. Salah satu subsektor pertanian yang memiliki basis sumberdaya alam adalah perkebunan. Tanaman Kopi merupakan salah satu komoditas penting di Indonesia dalam perdagangan ekspor ke beberapa negara di luar. Indonesia menduduki peringkat ke 3 sebagai negara pengekspor kopi. PT. Perkebunan Nusantara XII merupakan salah satu Badan Usaha Milik Negara (BUMN) yang didirikan pada tahun 1996. PT. Perkebunan Nusantara XII yang selanjutnya disebut PTPN XII merupakan hasil penggabungan dari 3 Badan Usaha Milik Negara (BUMN) yaitu PT Perkebunan Nusantara XXII (Persero), PT Perkebunan Nusantara XXVI (Persero), dan PT Perkebunan Nusantara XXIX (Persero). PT. Perkebunan Nusantara XII bermaksud dan bertujuan untuk melakukan usaha di bidang agrobisnis dan agroindustri serta optimalisasi pemanfaatan sumber daya perusahaan untuk menghasilkan barang dan atau jasa yang bermutu tinggi dan berdaya saing kuat, serta mengejar keuntungan guna meningkatkan nilai perusahaan PT. Perkebunan Nusantara XII Kebun Bangelan berada di Wonosari Kabupaten Malang. PTPN XII kebun bangelan mengelola tanaman kopi yang berkomoditas robusta. Syarat tumbuh tanaman kopi robusta yaitu dari ketinggian tempat, suhu, curah hujan dan kelembapan serta dari kondisi tanah itu sendiri. Adapun teknik budidaya yang dilakukan berupa pemilihan bibit yang unggul, parameter perawatan berupa pemangkasan (Wisil Kasar, halus dan pangkas bentuk ), pemupukan, dan pemeliharaan naungan. English Abstract
Plantations were the most important aspect of the economic landscape in Indonesia during the colonial period. The plantation business which was originally held in Java, towards the end of the 19th century began to be developed and expanded outside Java, especially Sumatra. One of the agricultural sub-sectors that has a natural resource base is plantations. Coffee plants are one of the important commodities in Indonesia in export trade to several countries outside. Indonesia is ranked 3rd as the largest coffee exporting country in the world after Brazil and Vietnam. PT. Perkebunan Nusantara XII is one of the State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) which was established in 1996. PT. Perkebunan Nusantara XII, hereinafter referred to as PTPN XII, is the result of the merger of 3 State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN), namely PT Perkebunan Nusantara XXII (Persero), PT Perkebunan Nusantara XXVI (Persero), and PT Perkebunan Nusantara XXIX (Persero). PT. Perkebunan Nusantara XII intends and aims to conduct business in the field of agribusiness and agro-industry as well as optimizing the use of company resources to produce goods and or services of high quality and strong competitiveness, as well as pursuing profits in order to increase company value. PT. Perkebunan Nusantara XII Kebun Bangelan is located in Wonosari, Malang Regency. PTPN XII Kebun Bangelan manages coffee plants with Robusta commodity. The requirements for growing robusta coffee plants are from the altitude, temperature, rainfall and humidity as well as from the condition of the soil itself. The cultivation techniques carried out are in the form of selecting superior seeds, maintenance parameters in the form of pruning (coarse, fine and trimmed wisil), fertilization, and shade maintenance. The yield parameters are fruit and flower taxation activities, harvest to post-harvest activities.
