Abstract
Ketahanan pangan merupakan suatu kondisi dimana kebutuhan pangan seseorang/rumah tangga terpenuhi dengan baik yang dicerminkan melalui tersedianya pangan secara cukup jumlah maupun mutunya, aman, merata serta terjangkau. Tingkat ketahanan pangan masyarakat dalam kategori rumah tangga di Indonesia tergolong rendah terutama di masa pandemic COVID-19. Upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk mempertahankan ketahanan pangan rumah tangga dengan mengikuti anjuran pemenuhan kebutuhan gizi dan mengelola pengeluaran pangan rumah tangga. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui tingkat ketahanan pangan rumah tangga petani di Dusun Bambang, Desa Bambang, Kecamatan Wajak, Kabupaten Malang serta faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi ketahanan rumah tangga petani. Populasi penelitian yang digunakan ialah kelompok tani Wono Asih 1 dengan total 81 rumah tangga petani yang tergabung didalamnya dan penentuan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling sehingga didapatkan sampel sejumlah 45 rumah tangga. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dengan melakukan perhitungan proporsi pengeluaran pangan, food recall, derajat ketahanan pangan melalui indikator silang antara proporsi pengeluaran pangan dengan konsumsi energi, serta menggunakan analisis regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan gambaran umum kondisi sosial ekonomi rumah tangga petani di Dusun Bambang. Berdasarkan usia, rumah tangga petani masih tergolong kedalam usia produktif dengan rata-rata usia kepala keluarga berada pada rentang 40-49 tahun dan rata-rata usia ibu berada pada rentang 30-39 tahun. Rata-rata masyarakat rumah tangga petani menempuh pendidikan terakhir pada Sekolah Dasar (SD/Sederajat) sebesar 60% untuk ayah maupun ibu. Rata-rata pendapatan rumah tangga petani sebesar 1.000.000-2.000.000 per bulan. Sebaran tingkat ketahanan pangan rumah tangga petani yang termasuk kedalam tahan pangan sebesar 13%, rentan pangan sebesar 22%, kurang pangan sebesar 29% dan rawan pangan 36%. Ketahanan pangan rumah tangga dipengaruhi secara signifikan oleh semua variabel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu pendapatan rumah tangga, pengeluaran pangan rumah tangga, jumlah anggota keluarga, usia ayah, usia ibu, pendidikan ayah serta pendidikan ibu.
English Abstract
Food security is a condition in which the food needs of a person/household are well met, which is reflected in the availability of food in sufficient quantity and quality, safe, equitable and affordable. The level of community food security in the household category in Indonesia is relatively low, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. Efforts can be made to maintain household food security by following the recommendations for meeting nutritional needs and managing household food expenditure. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of food security of farmer households in Bambang Hamlet, Bambang Village, Wajak District, Malang Regency and the factors that influence the resilience of farmer households. The research population used is the Wono Asih 1 farmer group with a total of 81 farmer households who are members of it and the determination of the sample using purposive sampling so that a sample of 45 households is obtained. The data analysis technique used is calculating the proportion of food expenditure, food recall, the degree of food security through cross indicators between the proportion of food expenditure and energy consumption, and using multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed a general description of the socio-economic conditions of farmer households in Dusun Bambang. Based on age, farmer households are still classified as productive age with the average age of the head of the family being in the range of 40-49 years and the average age of the mother being in the range of 30-39 years. On average, the farming household community took the last education at Elementary School (SD/Equivalent) by 60% for both fathers and mothers. The average household income of farmers is 1,000,000-2,000,000 per month. The distribution of the level of food security of farmer households which is included in food security is 13%, food insecurity is 22%, food insecurity is 29% and food insecurity is 36%. Household food security is significantly influenced by all variables used in this study, namely household income, household food expenditure, number of family members, father's age, mother's age, father's education and mother's education.
