Abstract
Padi (Oryza sativa L.) ialah salah satu tanaman pangan yang menjadi komoditas penting di Indonesia. Tahun 2020, Indonesia memiliki jumlah penduduk sebesar 269 juta jiwa dan mengalami peningkatan di setiap tahunnya. Tantangan untuk mencukupi kebutuhan beras yang selama ini masih bergantung pada impor. Produktivitas tanaman padi masih kurang belom maksimal sehingga dilakukan impor. Salah satu cara yang dapat diterapkan untuk meningkatkan produksi padi ialah menggunakan rekayasa perbanyakan populasi yang akan berpengaruh terhadap hasil. Sistem tanam jajar legowo dapat meningkatkan populasi sebanyak 30% dari sistem tegel dan jumlah bibit per lubang yang akan berpengaruh ke jumlah populasi. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah mempelajari interaksi antara perlakuan sistem tanam jajar legowo dan jumlah bibit per lubang, mempelajari pengaruh sistem tanam jajar legowo terhadap jumlah anakan dan hasil tanaman padi, dan mempelajari pengaruh jumlah bibit per lubang terhadap jumlah anakan dan hasil tanaman padi. Penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan rancangan petak terbagi (RPT). Penelitian ini menggunakan 2 faktor perlakuan, faktor perlakuan pertama ialah sistem tanam jajar legowo sekaligus menjadi plot utama (main plot) dan faktor perlakuan kedua ialah jumlah bibit per lubang sekaligus menjadi sub plot. Faktor pertama dengan perbedaan perlakuan sistem tanam jajar legowo 2:1 (L1), 3:1 (L2), dan 4:1 (L3) dan faktor kedua perbedaan jumlah bibit per lubang 1 bibit (J1), 2 bibit (J2), dan 3 bibit (J3) Setiap perlakuan diulang tiga kali, sehingga terdapat 27 satuan percobaan. Pengamatan dilaksanakan dengan mengamati fase pertumbuhan dan panen. Variabel pengamatan pertumbuhan ialah jumlah anakan produktif. Pengamatan panen meliputi bobot 1000 bulir (g), berat kering, berat basah dan berat beras. Pengamatan yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis ragam Anova 5%. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini yaitu : (a) Sistem tanam jajar legowo memiliki hasil yang hampir sama dengan variabel jumlah bibit per lubang. (b) Sistem tanam jajar legowo memiliki nilai yang hampir sama terhadap variabel pertumbuhan dan panen (c) Jumlah bibit per lubang memiliki nilai yang tidak jauh berbeda terhadap variabel pertumbuhan dan panen.
English Abstract
Rice (Oryza sativa L.) is one of the food crops which is an important commodity in Indonesia. In 2020, Indonesia has a population of 269 million people and is increasing every year. The challenge is to meet the demand for rice, which is still dependent on imports. In 2018, Indonesia imported 1.28 million tons. This should not happen considering that Indonesia has the potential to produce more. One way that can be applied to increase rice production is to use engineering population propagation which will affect the yield. The jajar legowo planting system can increase the population by as much as 30% of the tile system and the number of seeds per hole will affect the total population. The purpose of this study was to study the interaction between the treatment of the row legowo planting system and the number of seeds per hole, to study the effect of the row legowo planting system to the number of tillers and yield of rice plants, and to study the effect of the number of seeds per hole on the number of tillers and yield of rice plants. This research was conducted using a split plot design (RPT). This study used 2 treatment factors, the first treatment factor was the jajar legowo planting system as well as the main plot and the second treatment factor was the number of seeds per hole as well as a sub plot. The first factor is the difference in the treatment of the jajar legowo planting system of 2:1 (L1), 3:1 (L2), and 4:1 (L3) and the second factor is the difference in the number of seeds per hole of 1 seed (J1), 2 seeds (J2), and 3 seedlings (J3). Each treatment was repeated three times, so there were 27 experimental units. Observations were carried out by observing the growth and harvest phases. The growth observation variable was the number of productive tillers. Harvest observations included weight of 1000 grains (g), dry weight, wet weight and rice weight. The observations obtained were analyzed using 5% ANOVA analysis of variance. The results obtained in this study are: (a) there is no interaction between the jajar legowo planting system and the number of seeds per hole (b) the jajar legowo planting system has no effect on growth and harvest variables (c) the number of seeds per hole has no effect on growth variables and harves
