Abstract
Keberadaan pasar modal sebagai tempat untuk mendapatkan dana bagi perusahaan dan sebagai alternatif investasi masyarakat sangat penting untuk perkembangan perekonomian suatu negara. Salah satu efek pasar modal yang banyak diminati oleh investor adalah saham. Investor yang akan melakukan investasi di pasar saham harus melakukan analisis kondisi perusahaan terlebih dahulu agar investasi yang dilakukan bisa mendapatkan keuntungan (return saham). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kondisi keuangan perusahaan dan faktor makroekonomi terhadap return saham perusahaan. Data perusahaan yang digunakan sebagai sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah perusahaan sektor manufaktur selama periode tahun 2012 hingga tahun 2016. Data yang digunakan diperoleh dari Bursa Efek Indonesia, data Bank Indonesia, dan Badan Pusat Statistik selama tahun 2012 hingga tahun 2016. Periode waktu yang digunakan adalah periode triwulanan. Jumlah sampel perusahaan yang digunakan sebanyak 57 perusahaan. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan regresi panel dinamis dengan menggunakan metode Generalized Method of Moments (GMM). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lag periode pertama return saham memiliki pengaruh yang negatif dan signifikan terhadap return saham. Sedangkan lag kedua variabel return saham memiliki pengaruh yang positif terhadap return saham. Dari faktor kondisi keuangan perusahaan mendapatkan hasil bahwa variabel ROA memiliki pengaruh yang negatif, ROA memiliki pengaruh positif, dan EPS memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap return saham. Sedangkan dari faktor makroekonomi mendapatkan hasil bahwa inflasi dan nilai tukar memiliki pengaruh yang negative terhadap return saham perusahaan sektor manufaktur.
English Abstract
The existence of the capital market as a place to get funds for companies and as an alternative to public investment is very important for the economic development of a country. One of the capital market securities that are in great demand by investors is stocks. Investors who will invest in the stock market must first analyze the condition of the company so that the investment made can get a profit (stock return). This study aims to determine the effect of the company's financial condition and macroeconomic factors on the company's stock returns. The company data used as samples in this study are companies in the manufacturing sector during the period from 2012 to 2016. The data used are obtained from the Indonesia Stock Exchange, Bank Indonesia, and the Badan Pusat Statistik Indonesia from 2012 to 2016. The time period used is a quarterly period. The number of sample companies used as many as 57 companies. The data analysis technique used was dynamic panel regression using the Generalized Method of Moments (GMM) method. The results showed that the lag of the first period of stock returns has a negative and significant effect on stock returns. While the second lag of stock return variables has a positive influence on stock returns. From the factor of the company's financial condition, the results show that the ROA variable has a negative effect, ROA has a positive influence, and EPS has a positive influence on stock returns. Meanwhile, from macroeconomic factors, it is found that inflation and exchange rates have a negative effect on stock returns of manufacturing sector companies.
