Abstract
Air limbah tahu dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai pupuk organik cair untuk penanaman berbagai jenis tanaman karena kaya akan nutrisi hara seperti nitrogen, fosfat, dan kalium. Kangkung air merupakan salah satu tanaman yang gemar dikonsumsi masyarakat dan mudah tumbuh. Penelitian ini memanfaatkan air limbah tahu untuk menanam kangkung air untuk mengetahui pengaruh variasi umur tanam terhadap pertumbuhan kangkung air. Parameter yang diamati adalah suhu udara, suhu air, pH air, biomassa tanaman, jumlah daun, luas daun, dan tinggi tanaman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan suhu udara selama penelitian berfluktuatif pada rentang 24 – 34 0C dan 24,6 – 33 0C untuk suhuair. pH air saat 0 HST bersifat asam karena air limbah tahu mengandung cuka, kemudian saat 21 sampai 28 HST menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan antara LT di atas 9 dan LTK di bawah 9. Biomassa basah tanaman kangkung air berbeda nyata dengan nilai BNT sebesar 15,339. Biomassa kering tanaman kangkung air berbeda nyata dengan nilai BNT sebesar 2,138. Jumlah daun kangkung air berbeda nyata dengan nilai BNT sebesar 18,394. Luas daun kangkung air berbeda nyata dengan nilai BNT sebesar 34,098. Tinggi tanaman kangkung air berbeda nyata dengan nilai BNT sebesar 12,459.
English Abstract
Tofu wastewater can be used as liquid organic fertilizer for planting various types of plants because it is rich in nutrients like nitrogen, phosphate, and potassium. Water spinach is one of the plants that people like to consume and is easy to grow. This study utilizes tofu waste water to plant water spinach to know the effect of variations in planting time on the growth of water spinach. Parameters observed were air temperature, water temperature, water pH, biomass of plants, number of leaves, leaf area, and plant height. The results showed that the air temperature during the study fluctuated in the range of 24 - 34 0C and 24.6 - 33 0C forwater temperature. The pH of the water at 0 DAP was acidic because tofu wastewater contained vinegar, then at 21 to 28 DAPshowed a significant difference between LT above 9 and LTK below 9. The wet biomass of water spinach plants is significantly different with a BNT value of 15,339. The dry biomass of water spinach plants is significantly different with a BNT value of 2,138. The number of water spinach leaves is significantly different with the BNT value of 18,394. Water spinach leaf area is significantly different with the BNT value of 34,098. Water spinach plant height is significantly different with a BNT value of 12,459
