Abstract
Arsitektur inovatif yang tidak mengeksploitasi alam dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan masyarakat, merupakan hal yang sangat penting dalam perkembangan pariwisata di Indonesia. Salah satu arsitektur yang unik di Bali adalah Jungle Bubble Lodge, dengan konsep glamping di alam yang menggunakan struktur geodesic dome hexagon dan material membran PVC, satu- satunya di Indonesia. Dengan fungsi utama sebagai penginapan, glamping harus memberikan kenyamanan termal untuk penghuni dari iklim ruang luar. Glamping terletak di wilayah dataran tinggi Bali, yang ketika siang akan sangat panas dan ketika malam sangat dingin, sedangkan geodesic dome awalnya digunakan sebagai igloo di wilayah dingin. Penelitian dilakukan untuk mengetahui kinerja termal glamping tersebut, dengan mengukur temperatur udara, kelembaban udara, kecepatan angin, dan temperatur radiasi, Dalam pengukuran tersebut didapatkan data bahwa glamping tidak nyaman secara termal ketika siang hari, sehingga diberikan rekomendasi desain melalui software Autodesk Ecotect dan Calculation Thermal Tool HT Flux, dengan mengubah material membran. Geodesic dome efektif menyimpan panas ketika malam hari, sehingga melalui pemilihan material yang tepat, geodesic dome dapat digunakan di wilayah Iklim Tropis dalam skala besar.
English Abstract
Innovative architecture that doesn’t exploit nature and is in accordance with the needs of the community, is very important in the development of tourism in Indonesia. One of the unique architectures in Bali is Jungle Bubble Lodge, with the concept of glamping in nature using a hexagon geodesic dome structure and PVC as membrane material, becomes the one and only in Indonesia. With its main function as lodging, glamping must provide thermal comfort for residents from the outdoor climate. Glamping is located in the highlands of Bali, which is very hot during the day and very cold at night, while the geodesic dome was originally used as an igloo in cold areas. The study was conducted to determine the thermal performance of glamping, by measuring air temperature, humidity, wind speed, and radiation temperature. In these measurements data were obtained that glamping was not thermally comfortable during the day, so design recommendations were given through Autodesk Ecotect software and Calculation Thermal Tool by HT Flux, by changing the membrane of material. Geodesic dome effectively stores heat at night, so through the right choice of material, geodesic dome can be used in tropical climate areas on a large scale.
