Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi key success factors dalam pengembangan klaster UKM industri rotan di Kabupaten Cirebon; mengidentifikasi pola interaksi antar aktor (academic, business, goverment) dalam pengembangan klaster UKM industri rotan di Kabupaten Cirebon; membangun model strategi pengembangan klaster UKM industri rotan di Kabupaten Cirebon. Paradigma yang digunakan adalah nonmeanstream dengan metode analisis fenomenologi Schutz. Pengolahan data menggunakan Nvivo 11. Hasil analisis ini menunjukkan bahwa sosiohistori sebuah produk menjadi dasar terbentuknya klaster UKM industri rotan Kabupaten Cirebon. Intervensi akademik memantik tumbuhnya klaster, model quadruple helix ( 4 aktor) yakni Academic, Business, Community, Government secara kolaboratif berperan dalam pengembangan klaster. Penelitian ini mengkonstruksi model keranjang pengembangan klaster ( basket of cluster development) sebagai alternatif strategi yang dapat diimplementasi dalam pengembangan klaster UKM industri rotan yang kompetitif.

English Abstract

This study aims to identify key success factors in the development of the rattan industry SME cluster in Cirebon Regency; identify patterns of interaction between actors (academic, business, government) in the development of the rattan industry SME cluster in Cirebon Regency; build a strategic model for the development of the rattan industry SME cluster in Cirebon Regency. The paradigm used is non-meanstream with Schutz phenomenological analysis method. Data processing using Nvivo 11. The results of this analysis indicate that the sociohistory of a product is the basis for the formation of the rattan industry SME cluster in Cirebon Regency. Academic intervention triggers the growth of clusters, quadruple helix model (4 actors) namely Academic, Business, Community, Government collaboratively play a role in cluster development. This study constructs a basket of cluster development model as an alternative strategy that can be implemented in the development of a competitive rattan industry SME cluster.
