Abstract

Waduk Lahor merupakan salah satu waduk yang berlokasi di Kabupaten Malang yang dibangun dengan tujuan sebagai pensuplai air untuk kegiatan pertanian, pengendali banjir, pembangkit tenaga listrik, kegiatan pariwisata dan perikanan darat dalam bentuk Keramba Jaring Apung (KJA). Pemanfaatan waduk yang kurang benar dapat menimbulkan dampak buruk pada kualitas air waduk tersebut sehingga diperlukan analisis terhadap kualitas airnya agar memenuhi baku mutu air yang telah ditetapkan (PP No. 82 tahun 2001) sesuai dengan peruntukannya serta dapat dimanfaatkan seperti pada kenyataan penggunaan air waduk oleh masyarakat sekitarnya. Waduk Lahor belum diketahui status mutu airnya, sehingga perlu adanya analisis untuk menentukan status mutu air Waduk Lahor dimana dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode STORET dan Indeks Pencemaran. Parameter yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah suhu, pH, TSS, DO, BOD, COD, Nitrat dan Fosfat. Tipe penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan metode yang digunakan dalam pengambilan sampel adalah grab sampling. Penentuan status mutu air menggunakan metode STORET dan Indeks Pencemaran (IP) berdasarkan Keputusan Menteri Negara Lingkungan Hidup No.115 Tahun 2003 tentang Pedoman Penentuan Status Mutu Air. Titik pengambilan sampel berdasarkan SNI 6989.57:2008 dimana terdapat lima titik dengan variasi kedalaman 0 m dan 5 m. Berdasarkan penelitian, kualitas Waduk Lahor memenuhi baku mutu kelas II. Hasil perhitungan dengan metode STORET menunjukkan bahwa Waduk Lahor pada T1 dalam kondisi tercemar sedang, T2 dan T5 memenuhi baku mutu kelas II serta T3 dan T4 tercemar ringan. Sedangkan menurut hasil dengan metode IP berada pada kondisi memenuhi baku mutu kecuali pada T3 dengan kondisi tercemar ringan. Perbedaan antara metode STORET dan Indeks Pencemaran adalah dari penentuan nilai atau skor yang dijadikan rujukan serta prinsip analisis yang berbeda.

English Abstract

Lahor Reservoir is one of the reservoirs located in Malang Regency which was built with the aim of supplying water for agricultural activities, flood control, power generation, tourism activities and inland fisheries in the form of floating net cages (KJA). Improper use of reservoirs can have a negative impact on the water quality of the reservoir, so it is necessary to analyze the water quality in order to meet the water quality standards that have been set (PP No. 82 of 2001) according to its designation and can be utilized as in the reality of the use of reservoir water by the community. surroundings. The status of the Lahor Reservoir is not yet known, so an analysis is needed to determine the water quality status of the Lahor Reservoir, which in this study uses the STORET method and the Pollution Index. The parameters used in this study were temperature, pH, TSS, DO, BOD, COD, nitrate and phosphate. This type of research is descriptive quantitative with the method used in sampling is grab sampling. Determination of water quality status using the STORET method and the Pollution Index (IP) based on the Decree of the State Minister of the Environment No.115 of 2003 concerning Guidelines for Determining Water Quality Status. The sampling point is based on SNI 6989.57:2008 where there are five points with a depth variation of 0 m and 5 m. Based on the research, the quality of the Lahor Reservoir meets the class II quality standard. The results of calculations using the STORET method show that the Lahor Reservoir at T1 is in moderately polluted condition, T2 and T5 meets the class II quality standard and T3 and T4 is lightly polluted. Meanwhile, according to the results with the IP method for three days, the conditions met the quality standards except for T3 with mildly polluted conditions. The difference between the STORET method and the Pollution Index is from the determination of the value or score that is used as a reference and the different analysis principles.
