Abstract

Produktivitas pertanian di Indonesia cenderung menurun dikarenakan adanya peralihan fungsi lahan sementara kebutuhan konsumsi sayuran terus meningkat. Untuk meningkatkan produksi sayuran perlu didukung berbagai usaha dengan ekstensifikasi salah satunya dengan teknik budidaya hidroponik. Hidroponik wick merupakan hidroponik paling sederhana. Dengan adanya perkembangan teknologi, pengoptimalan usaha pertanian dapat dilakuakan. Finebbubble akhir-akhir ini banyak digunakan dalam memperbaiki kulitas air limbah dengan begitu maka kandungan oksigen terlarut dalam air akan meningkat sehingga akan meningkatkan kalitas air tersebut. Pada penelitian kali akan merancang bagaiman penggunaan finebbuble pada hidroponik system wick dan bagaimana pengaruhnya terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil panen dari tanaman selada karena adanya peningkatan kandungan oksigen dalam air nutrisi.. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pengolahan data Rancang Acak Lengkap Faktorial 2 faktor, faktor pertama lama pemberian perlakuan selama 2 jam, 4 jam, 6 jam dan 8 jam dalam sehari. Faktor kedua kuantitas finebubble yaitu sebanyak 1 dan 2 diffuser. Tanaman hasil perlakuan akan dibandingkan dengan tanaman kontrol. Parameter yang diamati berupa indeks kehijauan daun, luas daun, jumlah helai daun, panjang basah akar, berat basah dan bukaan stomata. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan, perlakuan lamanya dan kuantitas finebubble dapat meberikan hasil pertumbuhan yang lebih baik dibandingkan dengan tanaman kontrol. Perlakuan finebubble tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap indeks kehijauan daun, perlakuan 4 jam dengan 2 diffuser menghasilkan 21.3 unit dibanding control 18.6 unit. Hasil jumlah daun juga tidak berpengaruh nyata, perlakuan 4 jam1 diffuser menghasilkan rata-rata 9 helai dibanding control 7 helai. Perlakuan juga tidak berpengaruh nyata pada luas daun, perlakuan 8 jam dengan 2 diffuser menghasilkan 224.7 cm2 dibanding control 155.8 cm2. Perlakuan finebubble berpengaruh sangat nyata pada panjang akar, perlakuan 8 jam dengan 2 diffuser mengasilan 27.58 cm dibanding kontrol sebesar 20.3 cm. Hasil berat panen perlakuan juga tidak berpengaruh nyata, perlakuan 8 jam 2 diffuser menghsilkan 109.4 g dibanding kontrol 74.82 g. Pada bukaan lebar stomata berpengaruh secara nyata dengan perlakuan 4 jam dengan 2 diffuser menghasilkan 15.764 μm dibandingkan kontrol 8.984 μm.

English Abstract

Agricultural productivity in Indonesia tends to decline due to the shift in land use while the need for vegetable consumption continues to increase. To increase vegetable production, it is necessary to support various efforts with extensification, one of which is hydroponic cultivation techniques. Wick hydroponics is the simplest hydroponics. With the development of technology, optimization of agricultural business can be carried out. Lately, finebbubble is widely used in improving the quality of wastewater so that the dissolved oxygen content in the water will increase so that it will increase the quality of the water. In this study, we will design how to use fine bubble in a hydroponic wick system and how it affects the growth and yield of lettuce plants due to an increase in the oxygen content in nutrient water. This study used a 2-factor Factorial Completely Randomized Design data processing method, the first factor being the length of treatment for 2 hours, 4 hours, 6 hours and 8 hours a day. The second factor is the quantity of fine bubble as much as 1 and 2 diffusers. The treated plants were compared with control plants. The parameters observed were leaf greenness index, leaf area, number of leaves, root wet length, wet weight and stomata opening. Based on the observations, the duration of treatment and the quantity of fine bubble can give better growth results compared to control plants. Fine bubble treatment had no significant effect on leaf greenness index, 4 hours treatment with 2 diffusers produced 21.3 units compared to control 18.6 units. The results of the number of leaves also had no significant effect, the 4 hours 1 diffuser treatment produced an average of 9 baldes compared to the control 7 blades. The treatment also had no significant effect on leaf area, 8 hours treatment with 2 diffusers produced 224.7 cm2 compared to control 155.8 cm2. Fine bubble treatment had a very significant effect on root length, 8 hours treatment with 2 diffusers resulted in 27.58 cm compared to control of 20.3 cm. The harvest weight of the treatment also had no significant effect, the 8 hours 2 diffuser treatment produced 109.4 g compared to the control 74.82 g. The stomata width has a significant effect with 4 hours treatment with 2 diffusers producing 15,764 μm compared to control 8,984 μm.
