Abstract

Kegiatan perakitan semangka tanpa biji diawali dengan persilangan semangka tetraploid dengan semangka diploid. Hasil persilangan pada musim tanam sebelumnya yang berupa persilangan semangka diploid dan semangka tetraploid yang kemudian disilangkan secara bolak balik yang digunakan untuk mengetahui variasi genetik serta menganalisis pengaruh tetua betina dari berbagai parameter. Informasi tersebut digunakan untuk mengevaluasi serta menyeleksi hasil persilangan tersebut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengevaluasi tingkat keragaman genetik pada beberapa galur dari hasil persilangan diploid x tetraploid beserta resiproknya dan menganalisis pengaruh tetua betina pada karakter yang diamati. English Abstract

The assembly activity for seedless watermelons begins with crossing tetraploid watermelons with diploid watermelons. The results of crosses in the previous planting season in the form of crosses of diploid watermelons and tetraploid watermelons which were then crossed back and forth were used to determine genetic variation and to analyze the influence of female parents from various parameters. This information is used to evaluate and select the results of these crosses. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the level of genetic diversity in several strains from the crossbreeding of diploid x tetraploid and its reciprocal and analyze the influence of female parents on the observed characters
