Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis potensi genetik ayam Bangkok dan ayam hasil persilangan berdasarkan sifat produksi dan reproduksi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Berline Farm, Maguan. Materi yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah ayam Bangkok jantan, ayam petelur Lohmann dan ayam hasil persilangan ayam Bangkok dengan ayam petelur Lohmann (Joper) umur 1 hari dan 8 minggu. Variabel yang diamati adalah bobot badan, panjang paruh, panjang shank, lingkar dada, motilitas viabilitas, dan abnormalitas spermatozoa. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis ragam pola searah. Nilai korelasi fenotip dihitung menggunakan metode korelasi dan persamaan garis regresi. Rata-rata bobot badan, panjang paruh, panjang shank, dan lingkar dada ayam Bangkok adalah 3,86 ± 0,40 kg, 3,29 ± 0,74, 10,29 ± 1,51, dan 34,83 ± 4,61 cm. Motilitas spermatozoa tertinggi (93 %) dimiliki oleh kode pejantan O. Nilai viabilitas spermatozoa terbesar dan abnormalitas spermatozoa terkecil dimiliki oleh kode pejantan Q masing-masing sebesar 88 % dan 4,4 %. Rata-rata performan ayam Joper umur 1 hari dan 8 minggu adalah 41,86 ± 6,47 dan 619,04 ± 24,88 gram untuk bobot badan dan 1,24 ± 1,11 dan 2,87 ± 1,70 cm untuk panjang paruh. Rata-rata panjang shank dan lingkar dada ayam umur 1 hari dan 8 minggu adalah 2 ± 1,41; 6,12 ± 2,47 cm dan 6,82 ± 2,61 dan 18,13 ± 4,26 cm. Korelasi fenotip untuk untuk panjang paruh dan bobot badan, panjang shank dan bobot badan, lingkar dada dan bobot badan adalah 0,05, 0,08, dan 0,12, untuk umur 1 hari dan 0,37; 0,73; dan 0,46 untuk umur 8 minggu
English Abstract
This study aimed to analyze the genetic potential based on production and reproduction trait in Bangkok chickens and crossbreed chickens of Bangkok with Lohmann laying hen (Joper). This research was conducted at Berlin Farm. The material used were Bangkok chickens, and crossbreed of Bangkok chickens with Lohmann hen of 1 day and 8 week old chickens. The variables observed were the production traits (body weight, beak length, shank length, chest circumference) and the reproduction traits (motility, viability, and abnormality of sperm). Data were analyzed using one-way analysis of variance. The phenotype correlation was calculated using the coeficient correlation method. The average of body weight, beak length, shank length, and chest circumference of Bangkok chicken 3.86 ± 0.40 kg, 3.29 ± 0.74, 10.29 ± 1.51, and 34.83 ± 4.61 cm. The highest sperm motility (93 %) was owned by the O male code. The highest spermatozoa viability and smallest sperm abnormality was belong to Q male is (88% and 4,4 %). The average performance of Joper at age of 1 day and 8 weeks were 41.86 ± 6.47 and 619.04 ± 24.88 gram for body weight and 1.24 ± 1.11 and 2.87 ± 1.70 cm, for beak length, respectively. The average performance of Joper at age 1 day and 8 weeks were 2 ± 1.41 and 6.12 ± 2.47 cm, for shank and 6.82 ± 2.61 and 18.13 ± 4.26 cm, for chest circumference, respectively. Correlation between beak length and body weight, shank lenght and body weight, chest circumferences and body weight were 0.05, 0.08 and 0.12 for 1 day of age and 0.37, 0.73, and 0.46 for 8 weeks of age.
