Penerapan Lean Manufacturing Untuk Meminimize Waste Pada Proses Perakitan Plastic Box 260 Menggunakan Metode Vsm Dan Ahp

Ratlalan, Roberth Marshall (2017) Penerapan Lean Manufacturing Untuk Meminimize Waste Pada Proses Perakitan Plastic Box 260 Menggunakan Metode Vsm Dan Ahp. Magister thesis, Universitas Brawijaya.

Abstract

PT.

English Abstract

PT. X is one of the manufacturing industry companies engaged in the manufacture of military products located in the district of Malang. The object studied is the process of assembling plastic box 260. Facing the industrial competition, PT. X focuses on the manufacturing process of an activity that provides added value by increasing profits by reducing or eliminating waste. The analysis using lean manufacturing is a systematic approach with the function of identifying and eliminating waste to pursue excellence, perfection and make products according to customer's demand or desire. This research uses several methods such as Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Waste Relationship Matrix (WRM), Waste Assessment Questionaire (WAQ) and Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). WRM is used to measure the relationship between waste in the form of percentage so that it can know the waste that occurs to the other waste. WAQ is used to allocate waste resources that distinguish between the amount of each waste that occurs. The analysis using WRM and WAQ is taken by the third largest percentage. AHP is used for the purpose of knowing the weighting criteria of the highest rated waste. The analysis is also done by comparing takt time and standard time, if the standard time exceeds takt time will be analyzed using fishbone diagram. The recommended recommendation for improvement based on the analysis of waste with the 3 largest (unclearly inventory, overproduction, and motion), takt time calculation, and AHP is applied 5S (seiri, seiton, seiso, seiketsu, shitsuke), apply forecasting, Room, maintenance activities in the form of preventive maintenance, addition of equipment and machine, and layout design of production floor layout.
