Abstract

SMP Islam Sabilurrosyad berada di bawah naungan Yayasan Pondok Pesantren Sabilurrosyad yang berada di Malang. SMP Islam Sabilurrosyad telah menerapkan sistem kurikulum 2013 dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar. Begitu juga dengan proses penilaian siswa. Siswa SMP Islam Sabilurrosyad mendapatkan rapor hasil nilai belajar setiap akhir bulan dan akhir semester. Oleh karena itu, pihak sekolah tidak bisa memakai sistem rapor yang telah disediakan oleh pemerintahan dan menggunakan aplikasi Microsoft Excel. Pengumpulan nilai yang diberikan oleh guru pendidik kepada wali kelas seringkali mengalami keterlambatan dan wali kelas harus menyalin ulang nilai-nilai tersebut sebelum dicetak berupa dokumen rapor. Hal ini mengakibatkan tidak efisiensinya penggunaan waktu. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut peneliti merancang sebuah antarmuka pengguna sistem informasi untuk membantu proses penilaian siswa agar lebih mudah dan lebih efisien. Perancangan antarmuka pengguna dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan Human Centered Design (HCD) untuk menghasilkan rancangan yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan persyaratan pengguna sehingga dapat mencapai kepuasan pengguna. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah berupa dua desain prototipe fidelitas tinggi yang dievaluasi oleh calon pengguna yang berjumlah 3 orang. Pengujian dilakukan dengan menggunakan pengujian usability dan penilaian Single Ease Question (SEQ). Penilaian kuesioner ini mengukur tingkat kemudahan pengguna dalam mengerjakan suatu tugas. Hasil penilaian kuesioner SEQ menunjukkan bahwa desain satu dan desain dua mudah digunakan oleh calon pengguna. Nilai rata-rata yang didapat responden kepala sekolah pada desain satu adalah 6,54 sedangkan desain dua 6,37. Nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh dari kelompok responden wali kelas adalah 6,56 pada desain satu dan 6,80 pada desain dua. Kelompok responden terakhir yaitu guru memperoleh nilai rata-rata 6,50 pada desain satu dan 6,81 pada desain dua. Hasil nilai-nilai tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa kedua desain dapat dengan mudah digunakan dan dapat diterima oleh calon pengguna.

English Abstract

Sabilurrosyad Islamic junior high School is the auspices of the Sabilurrosyad Islamic boarding school in Malang. Sabilurrosyad Islamic Junior High School has implemented a 2013 curriculum system in teaching learning activities. Likewise with the student assessment process. Sabilurrosyad Islamic Junior High School students get a report on the results of learning at the end of each month and end of the semester. Therefore, the school cannot use the report system provided by the government because it uses the Microsoft Excel application. The collection of grades given by teacher educators to the class teacher is often delayed and here the class teacher must copy the grades before printed in the form of report. It results the inefficiently of time. Based on these problems, the researchers designed an information system user interface to help the student assessment process be easier and more efficient. The design of the user interface is done by using the Human Centered Design (HCD) approach to produce designs that suit the needs and requirements of users so as to achieve user satisfaction. The results of this research are two high fidelity prototype designs that were evaluated by 3 people of prospective users. Testing is done by using usability testing and Single Ease Question (SEQ) assessments. This questionnaire assessment measures the level of user convenience in doing a task. The results of the SEQ questionnaire assessment indicate that design one and design two are easy to use by prospective users. The average value obtained by the principal of respondents in design one is 6.54 while the second design is 6.37. The average value obtained from the class teacher respondent group was 6.56 in design one and 6.80 in design two. The last group of respondents is the teacher that got an average value of 6.50 in design one and 6.81 in design two. The results of these values can be concluded that both designs can be easily used and accepted by prospective users.
