Abstract
Polres Malang meluncurkan aplikasi Malang e-Policing yang digunakan untuk kegiatan melayani masyarakat baik dalam hal pencatatan, mengatasi pelaporan tindak kriminal, penyuluhan/sosialisasi tindak kriminal, penyebaran informasi dan kebutuhan layanan lainnya. Selain itu terdapat fitur penting yaitu panic button yang menyediakan panggilan darurat bagi masyarakat yang membutuhkan bantuan, baik bantuan polisi, ambulance, maupun pemadam kebakaran. Namun berdasarkan hasil pra penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat keluhan pengguna terkait usability yang membuat pengguna merasa kesulitan dalam menggunakan aplikasi Malang e-Policing. Permasalahan tersebut seperti tulisan yang terlalu kecil dan tertumpuk background, tidak ada tombol back (kembali) di beberapa menu, dan tidak ada tombol edit pada pengaturan profil. Penyelesaian permasalahan tersebut akan dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan Human Centered Design (HCD). Pendekatan ini dimulai dengan identifikasi konteks kegunaan, analisis Kebutuhan pengguna, perancangan desain solusi atau perbaikan, dan evaluasi hasil desain solusi. Analisis kebutuhan pengguna dilakukan dengan Metode Usability Testing dimana untuk mengetahui nilai Learnability, Efficiency, Memorability, dan Errors. Kemudian dilakukan Questionnaire for User Interface Satisfaction (QUIS) untuk mengetahui nilai Satisfaction dan wawancara untuk mendalami permasalahan usability yang dialami pengguna. Dari hasil analisis kebutuhan pengguna didapatkan nilai Learnability 48,5%, Efficiency 49,53%, Errors 41%, Memorability segi waktu 22,34%, Memorability segi jumlah tap 19,7%, dan Satisfaction 45%. Selain itu juga didapatkan 14 permasalahan Usability dan Antarmuka pengguna. Pada tahap perancangan desain solusi menghasilkan rancangan Information Architecture, Wireframe, Mockup, dan Prototype. Hasil evaluasi desain solusi menghasilkan nilai Learnability 99,75%, Efficiency 99,7%, Errors 0,07%, Memorability segi waktu 15,15%, Memorability segi jumlah tap 9,36%, dan Satisfaction 95,46%. Dari hasil evaluasi desain perbaikan dapat disimpulkan bahwa desain perbaikan memiliki dampak yang baik terhadap usability dan antarmuka aplikasi Malang e-Policing.
English Abstract
Polres Malang launched Malang e-Policing application which is used to serving the community both in terms of recording, administering criminal reports, counseling / socializing criminal acts, disseminating information and other service needs. In addition there is an important feature that is the panic button that provides emergency calls for people who need help, both police assistance, ambulance, and fire engines. However, the results of the pre-research show that there are user complaints related to usability which makes users find it difficult to use Malang e-Policing application. These problems are like the font size that is too small and overlapped with the background, no back button on some menus, and no edit button on the profile settings. Resolution of these problems will be carried out by using the Human Centered Design (HCD) approach. This approach starts with identifying the usability context, analyzing user requirements, designing the solution or improvement design, and evaluating the results of the design. User requirement analysis is conducted by the Usability Testing Method in order to find out the value of Learnability, Efficiency, Memorability, and Errors. Then a Questionnaire for User Interface Satisfaction (QUIS) was conducted to determine the value of Satisfaction and interviews to explore the usability issues experienced by users. From the analysis of user requirements, the value of Learnability was 48.5%, Efficiency 49.53%, Errors 41%, Memorability in terms of time 22.34%, Memorability in terms of number of tap 19.7%, and Satisfaction 45%. It also found 14 Usability and User Interface problems. At the design stage the solution design produces Information Architecture, Wireframe, Mockup, and Prototype designs. The results of the evaluation of the design of the solution resulted in a value of Learnability 99.75%, Efficiency 99.7%, Errors 0.07%, Memorability in terms of time 15.15%, Memorability in terms of number of taps 9.36%, and Satisfaction 95.46%. From the results of the evaluation of the improvement design it can be concluded that the proposed design has a good impact on the usability and application interface of Malang e-Policing.
