Magister thesis, Universitas Brawijaya.

Abstract

English Abstract

This research was conducted aiming to determine the factors that influence the use of digital banking related to technology acceptance in Indonesia. In the era of the highly competitive industrial revolution 4.0, the use of digital banking is very important in facilitating human lifestyles. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of perceived of usefulness, perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, complexity, trust on bank, perceived risk, and trust on technology towards the intention to use multi-finance in Indonesia. The variables in this study are Perceived Usefulness (X1), Perceived Ease of Use (X2), Complexity (X3), Trust on Bank (X4), Perceived Risk (X5), Trust on Technology (X6), as independent variables; and Intention to Use (Y) as the dependent variable. This study adopted the quantitative approach chosen because it allowed researchers to observe the relationship between each variable in numerical form and statistical procedures. Furthermore, Explanatory Research was chosen to explain the effect and position of each variable on other variables, both directly and indirectly. For data collection methods, distributing questionnaires online was used in this study with a 5-point Likert Scale. Criteria for respondents in this study include Respondents in this study are those aged 19 to 39 years, or generation Y or Millennial generation. Because 60% -70% of BTPN Jenius users in Indonesia are millennial generation. Samples were taken as many as 200 respondents from Jenius BTPN users in Indonesia. Data analysis in this study used Multiple Linear Regression Analysis and hypothesis testing is done by comparing t-table and t- statistic values, processed by PLS software in this study developed at the University of Hamburg in Germany named SmartPLS. In other words, this research uses non-probability sampling and purposive sampling techniques. The results show a positive and significant effect of the perception of ease of use, perceived usefulness and trust in the intention to use digital banking in Indonesia.
