Abstract

Praktik Kerja Lapang(PKL) merupakan sebuah implementasi yang mengombinasikan antara pendidikan akademik yang didapat dari proses belajar mengajar kampus dan keahlian yang dimiliki mahasiswa berupa hardskill dan softskill. Pada Jurusan Sistem Informasi (JSI) Universitas Brawijaya mahasiswa yang akan menempuh matakuliah PKL secara mandiri harus mencari perusahaan yang akan dijadikan lokasi PKL. Saat ini masih belum terdapat kerjasama antara perusahaan dengan JSI, sehingga terdapat mahasiswa yang kesulitan saat mencari perusahaan untuk melaksanakan PKL. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah merancang user experience sistem informasi versi desktop dan mobile untuk menjembatani antara mahasiswa dan perusahaan terkait pencarian lowongan PKL dan penyebaran informasi lowongan PKL, yang dapat memenuhi kebutuhan, mudah digunakan dan memberikan pengalaman menyenangkan bagi pengguna. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam melakukan merancang desain solusi adalah Human Centered Design (HCD). Rancangan sistem yang dihasilkan berupa prototipe fidelitas tinggi, yang kemudian dievaluasi dengan teknik usability testing dengan mengukur tiga aspek yaitu efektivitas, efisiensi, dan kepuasan yang menggunakan kuesioner Single Ease Question(SEQ). Hasil pengujian untuk versi desktop menghasilkan nilai success rate 98,64%, nilai TBE 0,036 goals/sec, dan memperoleh nilai 6,19 pada tingkat kepuasan pengguna. Pada versi mobile menghasilkan nilai success rate 97,3%, nilai TBE 0,205 goals/sec, dan memperoleh nilai 6,2 pada tingkat kepuasan pengguna. Dan ditemukan 41 saran dari keseluruhan partisipan yang berguna untuk penelitian selanjutnya.

English Abstract

Praktik Kerja Lapang(PKL) is an implementation that combines academic education obtained from the teaching and learning process on campus and the expertise obtained by students from hard skills and soft skills. In the Information Systems Department (JSI) of Universitas Brawijaya students who will meet PKL subjects independently must find a company that will use the PKL location. At present there is still no collaboration between the company and JSI, so there are students who find it difficult to find companies to implement street vendors. The purpose of this study is to study the user experience of desktop and mobile information systems to bridge the relationship between students and related companies looking for street vendors and spread information on street vendors, which can fulfill their needs, are easy to use and provide pleasant benefits for users. The approach used in designing solution designs is Human-Centered Design (HCD). The system design made consists of a high fidelity prototype, which is then evaluated by the usability testing technique by measuring three aspects namely, efficiency, and satisfaction using the Single Ease Question (SEQ) questionnaire. The test results for the desktop version resulted in a success rate of 98.64%, a TBE value of 0.036 goals / second, and a value of 6.19 in the level of user satisfaction. In the mobile version, get a success rate of 97.3%, TBE value of 0.205 goals / second, and get a 6.2 value on the level of user satisfaction. And found 41 suggestions from overall participants that are useful for further research.
