Abstract
Buku mempunyai peranan penting dalam melahirkan generasi penerus bangsa yang cerdas, kreatif, dan kritis. Buku bacaan khususnya buku ilmu agama Islam memiliki berbagai macam kategori contohnya kategori akidah, akhlak, sirah, dan lain sebagainya. Namun banyaknya buku ilmu agama Islam serta berbagai macam kategori yang ada membuat seseorang kesulitan untuk mencari buku yang diinginkan sesuai kategori buku yang ingin dibaca. Dengan demikian penelitian ini mencoba untuk mengklasifikasikan kategori buku ilmu agama Islam kedalam 7 kategori dengan menggunakan metode Multinomial Naive Bayes dan seleksi fitur Information Gain. Proses klasifikasi dimulai dari teks preprocessing, seleksi fitur dengan metode Information Gain, dan klasifikasi menggunakan metode Multinomial Naive Bayes. Pengujian pada penelitian ini adalah uji akurasi, presisi, dan recall dengan 2 skenario yaitu melalui proses stemming dan tidak melalui proses stemming serta analisis pengaruh dari threshold Information Gain. Hasilnya skenario melalui stemming dengan seleksi fitur 50% memiliki hasil akurasi, presisi, dan recall terbaik sebesar 69%, 74%, dan 69% secara berurutan. Berdasarkan pengujian algoritme dapat melakukan klasifikasi kategori buku ilmu agama islam menggunakan metode Multinomial Naive Bayes dan seleksi fitur Information Gain
English Abstract
Books that have an important role in making the next generation of the nation intelligent, creative, and critical. Special reading books on Islamic religion have various categories, for example categories of creed, morals, sirah, and so forth. Books about Islam and various categories that exist makes it difficult for people to find the desired book according to the category of books that you want to read. Thus this study seeks to classify Islamic religious book categories into 7 categories using the Naive Bayes Multinomial method and Information Gain feature selection. The classification process starts from the preprocessing text, features selection by the Information Gain method, and classification using the Multinomial Naive Bayes method. Testing in this study is testing, precision, and withdrawal with 2 scenarios, namely through the process of stemming and not through the process of stemming and analysis of the influence of the threshold Information Gain. Displaying scenarios through stemming with a 50% feature selection has the best accuracy, precision, and recall results of 69%, 74%, and 69% by order. Based on testing algorithms can classify the categories of Islamic religious science books using the Naive Bayes Multinomial method and Information Gain feature selection
