Abstract

Saat ini, persaingan di dunia konstruksi semakin ketat. Banyak perusahaan konstruksi di Indonesia ingin mencapai kesuksesan dan bersaing secara profesional satu sama lain. Masalah yang sering terjadi yaitu masih kurang berhasilnya manajer proyek dalam mengorganisir, mempengaruhi, mengarahkan anggota kelompok organisasi dalam suatu proyek konstruksi atau memimpin sumber daya manusia agar melakukan kegiatan berkaitan dengan tugasnya untuk mencapai tujuan yang ditetapkan. Kecakapan memimpin adalah syarat bagi suatu pengelolaan yang efektif. Tujuan penelitian yaitu bisa menganalisis untuk mengetahui pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan manajer proyek terhadap kinerja sumber daya manusia pada proyek jalan di Jawa Timur, bisa menganalisis untuk mengetahui pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan manajer proyek terhadap keberhasilan proyek jalan di Jawa Timur, dan bisa menganalisis untuk mengetahui pengaruh kinerja sumber daya manusia terhadap keberhasilan proyek jalan di Jawa Timur. Populasi penelitian adalah karyawan dan top management (manajer divisi) pada proyek jalan di Jawa Timur telah selesai dilaksanakan maupun dalam proses pelaksanaan konstruksi yang dikerjakan oleh kontraktor berskala besar. Sampel ditargetkan 100 – 150 responden dari kuesioner. Responden merupakan karyawan di perusahaan jasa konstruksi. Di samping itu, wawancara dengan top management (manajer divisi) sebagai data pendukung. Menggunakan analisis data uji validitas, reliabilitas, korelasi Pearson, dan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Model SEM yaitu satu variabel eksogen (gaya kepemimpinan manajer proyek), variabel endogen antara (kinerja sumber daya manusia) dan variabel endogen dependen (keberhasilan proyek konstruksi). Hasil penelitian proyek jalan di Jawa Timur yaitu data terkumpul sebanyak N (jumlah sampel) = 145 responden. Analisis uji validitas menunjukkan bahwa semua variabel adalah valid dan berdasarkan keeratan hubungan mempunyai hubungan erat (reliabel). Hasil analisis SEM menunjukkan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan manajer proyek berpengaruh sangat erat terhadap kinerja sumber daya manusia pada proyek jalan di Jawa Timur. Gaya kepemimpinan manajer proyek berpengaruh sangat erat terhadap keberhasilan proyek jalan di Jawa Timur. Kinerja sumber daya manusia tidak berpengaruh kuat terhadap keberhasilan proyek jalan di Jawa Timur. Gaya kepemimpinan manajer proyek dipengaruhi sangat kuat dengan “memberikan standar” dan “mengevaluasi dua arah”. Gaya kepemimpinan manajer proyek dipengaruhi cukup lemah dengan “memberikan perintah”. Manajer proyek memiliki gaya kepemimpinan transformasional dan transaksional hampir seimbang. Kinerja sumber daya manusia dipengaruhi sangat kuat dengan “melakukan pekerjaan dengan baik” dan “memahami K3”. Kinerja sumber daya manusia dipengaruhi tidak begitu kuat dengan “mengutamakan prioritas kerja” dan “bersifat proaktif”. Keberhasilan proyek jalan di Jawa Timur dipengaruhi sangat kuat dengan “manajemen perusahaan” dan “mutu yang dihasilkan”. Apabila terjadi perbaikan mutu karena tidak memenuhi standar maka pasti akan terjadi pembengkakan biaya dan dampak proyek menjadi rugi. Keberhasilan proyek jalan di Jawa Timur dipengaruhi tidak begitu erat dengan “kemampuan anggota memecahkan masalah”.

English Abstract

At present, competition in the construction world is getting tougher. Many construction companies in Indonesia want to achieve success and compete professionally with each other. The problem that often occurs is that there is still a lack of success of the project manager in organizing, influencing, directing members of organizational groups in a construction project or leading human resources to carry out activities related to their duties to achieve the goals set. Leadership skills are a condition for effective management. The purpose of the research is to be able to analyze to determine the influence of the project manager's leadership style on the performance of human resources on road projects in East Java, to analyze the influence of the project manager's leadership style on the success of road projects in East Java, and to analyze the influence of human resource performance on the success of road projects in East Java. The research population is employees and top management (division manager) on road projects in East Java have been completed and in the process of implementing construction which is done by large-scale contractors. The sample target is 100-150 respondents from the questionnaire. Respondents are employees of construction services companies. Supporting data is interviews with top management (division manager). Then the results of the questionnaire will be analyzed by validity, reliability, Pearson correlation, and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) tests. One exogenous variable (project manager leadership style), endogenous variable between (human resource performance) and dependent endogenous variable (success of a construction project). The results of research on road projects in East Java, namely data collected as many as N (number of samples) = 145 respondents. Analysis of the validity test shows that all variables are valid and based on the closeness of the relationship has a close relationship (reliable). The results of SEM analysis show that the leadership style of the project manager has a very strong influence on the performance of human resources on road projects in East Java and the leadership style of the project manager has a very strong influence on the success of road projects in East Java. However, the performance of human resources does not have a strong influence on the success of road projects in East Java. In addition, the leadership style of the project manager is strongly influenced by providing standards and evaluating two directions. However, the leadership style of the project manager is influenced quite weakly by giving orders. Project managers have a nearly balanced transformational and transactional leadership style. The performance of human resources is strongly influenced by doing a good job and understanding K3. However, the performance of human resources is influenced not so strongly by prioritizing work priorities and proactive. The success of road projects in East Java is strongly influenced by company management and quality produced. If there is a quality improvement because it does not meet the standards, there will certainly be swelling of costs and the impact of the project on a loss. However, the success of road projects
