Abstract
Latar Belakang: Lansia mengalami berbagai penurunan fungsi yang menimbulkan berbagai masalah kesehatan. Masalah muskuloskeletal, khususnya gout arthritis sering terjadi pada lansia. Mayoritas penderita merasakan nyeri yang dapat mengganggu aktivitas. Tujuan: Studi ini bertujuan memaparkan hasil asuhan keperawatan lansia pada Ny. S dengan nyeri kronis pada gout arthritis di Desa Kucur. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi kasus yang berbasis asuhan keperawatan. Hasil: Masalah keperawatan yang muncul pada klien secara berurutan yaitu nyeri kronis yang berhubungan dengan kondisi kronis (gout arthritis), gangguan pola tidur berhubungan dengan kurang kontrol tidur dan hambatan lingkungan, serta defisit pengetahuan berhubungan dengan kurang terpapar informasi. Tindakan yang diberikan untuk mengatasi masalah klien adalah memonitor karakteristik nyeri, memberikan terapi rendam air hangat dan garam, memberikan terapi relaksasi otot progresif, mengedukasi sleep hygiene, dan memberikan edukasi terkait gout arthritis. Kesimpulan: Setelah tiga kali pemberian intervensi, nyeri klien berkurang menjadi skala 2. Masalah nyeri kronis dan gangguan pola tidur teratasi sebagian dan masalah defisit pengetahuan teratasi.
English Abstract
Background: The elderly experience various functional declines that cause various health problems. Musculoskeletal problems, especially gout arthritis, often occur in the elderly. The majority of sufferers feel pain that can interfere activities. Objective: This study aims to describe the results of nursing care for the elderly in Ny. S with chronic pain in gout arthritis in Kucur Village. Methods: This study used a descriptive method with a case study approach based on nursing care. Results: Nursing problems that appear to clients sequentially are chronic pain related to chronic conditions (gout arthritis), sleep pattern disturbances associated with lack of sleep control and environmental barriers, and knowledge deficits associated with less exposure to information. The actions taken to overcome the client's problems are monitoring the characteristics of pain, providing warm and salt bath therapy, providing progressive muscle relaxation therapy, educating sleep hygiene, and providing education related to gout arthritis. Conclusion: After three interventions, the client's pain was reduced to a scale of 2. The problem of chronic pain and sleep disturbances was partially resolved and the problem of knowledge deficit was resolved
