Abstract

Kecamatan Jabon merupakan salah satu kecamatan yang ada di Sidoarjo yang berbatasan dengan laut sebelah timur. Kecamatan Jabon memiliki potensi yang dapat dikembangkan menjadi daerah wisata salah satunya yaitu Destinasi Wisata Pulau Lusi (Lumpur Sidoarjo) yang merupakan pulau buatan yang dibentuk sebagai solusi dari penanganan endapan sedimen di muara sungai Porong akibat dari semburan panas yang dialirkan ke laut melalui Sungai Porong. Saat ini Pulau Lusi dimanfaatkan sebagai lahan untuk menambah luasan ekosistem mangrove di muara dan perikanan budidaya dengan sistem wanamina (Silvofishery). Pulau Lusi saat ini juga menjadi tujuan wisata baru di Kabupaten Sidoarjo selain memiliki keunikan tersendiri karena merupakan pulau buatan, Pulau Lusi juga memiliki banyak potensi yang bisa dinikmati oleh pengunjung yang ingin datang ke Pulau baru tersebut. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Sumber data diperoleh dari data primer dan sekunder. Lokasi penelitian dilakukan di Kabupaten Sidoarjo, Kecamatan Jabon, dengan situs penelitian meliputi Dinas Pemuda, Olahraga dan Budaya Kabupaten Sidoarjo, Kelompok Sadar Wisata Kecamatan Jabon, dan Pusat Pengendalian Lumpur Sidoarjo Kota Surabaya, serta pengunjung Destinasi Wisata Pulau Lusi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan model Creswell. Sedangkan teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode wawancara, observasi, dan studi pustaka.

English Abstract

Jabon is one of sub-districts brantas mining company in sidoarjo which is directly adjacent to the north sea . Jabon having potential that could be developed into one of them is tourist area tourist destination lusi ( island Sidoarjo mudflow ) which is artificial island that are formed as the solution of the handling of sedimentary deposits in the mouth of the river porong area a result of a burst of heat that were channeled to the sea over a river porong area .Currently the island of lusi used as land to add area of mangrove trees at ecosystem muara and fishery with a system of cultivation wanamina ( silvofishery ) .The island is now also become the destination of the lusi new tour in sidoarjo apart from having the unique because it is the artificial island , the island of lusi also has a lot of potential that can be enjoyed by visitors who want to come to the island the new . This type of research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. The data sources were obtained from primary and secondary data. The location of the research was conducted in Sidoarjo Regency, Jabon District, with the research sites covering the Sidoarjo Regency Youth, Sports and culture office, Jabon District Tourism Awareness Group, and the Sidoarjo Mud Control Center, Surabaya City, as well as visitors to Lusi Island tourism destination. The data analysis technique used the creswell model. While the data collection technique is done by interview, observation, and literature study methods.
