Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang kemenangan Erzaldi Rosman sebagai kandidat penantang atas kandidat incumbent dalam kontestasi pilkada Bangka Belitung tahun 2017. Kemenangan seorang kandidat dalam pilkada tentunya tidak terlepas dari beberapa faktor pendukung, diantaranya adalah adanya faktor modal sosial, ekonomi, politik dan faktor-faktor lainnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori modal sosial Piere Bourdue untuk mengeksplorasi faktor kemenangan Erzaldi Rosman dalam melawan kandidat petahana pada pilkada Babel tahun 2017. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga menggunakan teori Modal Politik Cesey untuk melihat bagaimana Erzaldi Rosman membangun jejaring politik untuk memenangkan pilkada Babel tahun 2017. Ditambah lagi dengan konsep modal ekonomi (financial) untuk mengeksplor bagaimana Erzaldi Rosman membangun jejaring financial dalam pemenangannya pada pilkada Babel tahun 2017. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang digunakan pada penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk memperoleh informasi mengenai terpilihnya Erzaldi Rosman sebagai Gubernur Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung terpilih tahun 2017 dengan melihat modal sosial, politik dan ekonomi yang dimiliki oleh Erzaldi Rosman. Selain itu, peneliti juga mencari apakah ada faktor lain yang melatarbelakangi kemenangan Erzaldi Rosman di luar dari 3 (tiga) modal tersebut . Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah kemenangan Erzaldi Rosman atas kandidat petahana dalam kontestasi pilkada Babel tahun 2017 adalah dikarenakan adalnya faktor modal sosial yang dimiliki oleh Erzaldi Rosman. Beberapa informan mengatakan bahwa faktor utama mereka memilih Erzaldi Rosman pada saat pilkada adalah dikarenakan mereka tertarik dengan ketokohan dan track record yang baik yang dibangun oleh Erzaldi Rosman sejak lama. Selain itu, ditambah lagi dengan adanya managemenisasi modal ekonomi yang sangat baik oleh pihak Erzaldi Rosman, dan adanya dukungan modal politik (koalisi partai pengusung). Selain itu juga da beberapa faktor pendukung lainnya seperti konsulltan politik dan timses yang solid dan faktor praktik uang (money politics)

English Abstract

This study discusses about the victory of Erzaldi Rosman as a contending candidate for the incumbent candidate in Bangka Belitung regional election contest 2017. The victory of a candidate in the election certainly cannot be separated from several supporting factors, including the existence of social capital, economic capital, political capital and alaso some other factors. This study uses Piere Bourdue's theory of social capital to explore the factors of Erzaldi Rosman's victory against incumbent candidates in Bangka Belitung elections 2017. In addition, this study also uses the Political Capital theory of Cesey to see how Erzaldi Rosman builds a political network to win Bangka Belitung elections in 2017. Collaburated with the concept of economic capital (financial) to explore how Erzaldi Rosman built a financial network in his victory in Bangka Belitung elections in 2017. This study uses the qualitative approach with the case study method. Qualitative. The type of qualitative descriptive research used in this study is intended to obtain the information about the election of Erzaldi Rosman as the selected of Bangka Belitung Islands Province governor in 2017 by looking at the social, political and economic capital of him. In addition, the researcher also searched for other factors behind the victory of the Erzaldi Rosman outside of the 3 (three) capitals. The result of this research is Erzaldi Rosman's victory over incumbent candidates in the Bangka Belitung election contest in 2017 is due to the existence of social capital factors which is owned by Erzaldi Rosman. Some informants said that the main factor they chose Erzaldi Rosman at the time of the election was because they were interested in the good figure and track record built by Erzaldi Rosman for a long time. In addition, coupled with the excellent management of economic capital by Erzaldi Rosman, and the existence of political capital support (the bearer party coalition). Besides that, there are also a number of other supporting factors such as the solidity between the politcal consultant and victory support team of Erzaldi Rosman and the last factor is money politics
