Abstract
Pandemi Covid-19 yang telah terjadi semenjak awal 2020 telah menginfeksi jutaan populasi di dunia dikarenakan penyebarannya yang sangat cepat. Dampak yang dihasilkan dari pandemi Covid-19 bukan hanya pada sektor kesahatan, namun sektor pertanian juga terkena dampak dari pandemi. Peraturan dari pemerintah mengenai penanganan Covid-19 yaitu penerapan kebijakan pembatasan sosial berskala besar (PSBB) membuat kegiatan diseluruh sektor, salah satunya sektor pertanian terhambat. Selain itu, fluktuasi harga yang terjadi saat pandemi juga membuat pendapatan petani menurun, salah satunya adalah petani cabai rawit di Desa Bocek, Kecamatan Karangploso, Kabupaten Malang. Tanaman cabai rawit merupakan komoditas musiman yang selalu diiringi dengan permintaan yang melimpah namun penawaran yang terbatas. Hal tersebut harus diiringi dengan pem- anfaatan faktor produksi secara maksimal oleh petani dan juga faktor-faktor produksi tersebut perlu diidentifikasi agar dapat memaksimalkan produksi serta meningkatkan pendapatan dari petani cabai rawit. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis faktor produksi yang mempengaruhi usahatani cabai rawit, dan juga menganalisis pendapatan usahatani cabai rawit sebelum dan saat pandemi Covid-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan variabel independen diantaranya adalah luas la- han (X1), jumlah bibit (X2), jumlah pupuk kandang (X3), jumlah pupuk urea (X4), jumlah pupuk SP-36 (X5), jumlah pupuk ZA (X6), jumlah pupuk NPK (X7), jumlah pestisida (X8) dan tenaga kerja (X9) dengan variabel dependennya adalah produksi cabai rawit (Y). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Penelitian ini berlokasi di Desa Bocek, Kecamatan Karangploso, Kabupaten Malang dan dil- akukan pada bulan Mei sampai Juni 2021. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah sebanyak 40 orang petani cabai rawit di Desa Bocek. Data dikumpulkan dengan cara wawancara dengan masing-masing responden, lalu data dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik statistik deskriptif, analisis usahatani serta analisis re- gresi linier berganda Cobb-Douglas menggunakan aplikasi STATA 14. Hasil analisis usahatani menunjukkan adanya perubahan produksi, penda- patan dan penerimaan pada sebelum dan selama pandemi Covid-19. Pada sebelum pandemi covid-19, rata-rata produksi cabai rawit sebesar 6.664,20 kg/Ha dengan rata-rata penerimaan dan pendapatan sebesar Rp. 166.604.961,13 per hektar dan Rp. 138.221.038,52 per hektar. Namun, pada saat pandemi Covid-19, rata-rata produksi cabai rawit di Desa Bocek menjadi 5.075,26 kg/Ha dengan rata-rata pen- erimaan dan pendapatan sebesar Rp. 40.221.474,66 per hektar dan Rp. 11.837.552,06 per hektar. Pada analisis faktor yang mempengaruhi produksi usahatani cabai rawit menunjukkan bahwa variabel independen Luas Lahan (X1) memiliki pengaruh sig- nifikan secara parsial terhadap variabel dependen Produksi Cabai Rawit (Y). Se- mentara variabel lainnya seperti variabel Benih (X2), Pupuk Kandang (X3), Pupuk Urea (X4), SP-36 (X5), Pupuk NPK (X7), Pestisida (X8) dan Tenaga Kerja (X9) tidak memiliki pengaruh secara parsial terhadap Produksi Cabai Rawit (Y).
English Abstract
The Covid-19 pandemic that has occurred since the beginning of 2020 has infected millions of the world's population due to its very fast spread. The impact resulting from the Covid-19 pandemic is not only in the health sector, but the agri- cultural sector is also affected by the pandemic. Regulations from the government regarding the handling of Covid-19, namely the implementation of large-scale so- cial restrictions (PSBB) have hampered activities in all sectors, one of which is the agricultural sector. In addition, price fluctuations that occurred during the pandemic also made farmers' incomes decrease, one of which was cayenne pepper farmers in Bocek Village, Karangploso District, Malang Regency. Seasonal commodities such as cayenne pepper are always accompanied by abundant demand but limited supply. This must be accompanied by maximum utilization of production factors by farmers and also these production factors need to be identified in order to maximize pro- duction and increase the income of cayenne pepper farmers. The purpose of this study is to analyze production factors that affect cayenne pepper farming, and also analyze the income of cayenne pepper farming before and during the Covid-19 pan- demic. This study used independent variables including land area (X1), amount of seeds (X2), amount of manure (X3), amount of urea fertilizer (X4), amount of SP- 36 fertilizer (X5), amount of ZA fertilizer (X6), amount of NPK fertilizer (X7), amount of pesticides (X8) and labor (X9) with the dependent variable being the production of cayenne pepper (Y). This study uses a quantitative approach. This research is located in Bocek Village, Karangploso District, Malang Regency and was conducted from May to June 2021. The sample used in the study was 40 cay- enne pepper farmers in Bocek Village. The data were collected by interviewing each respondent, then the data were analyzed using descriptive statistical tech- niques, farming anlysis and Cobb-Douglas multiple linear regression analysis using the STATA 14 application. The results of the farming analysis also show changes in production, income and income before and during the Covid-19 pandemic. Before the Covid-19 pan- demic, the average production of cayenne pepper was 6.664,20 Kg/Ha with an av- erage revenue and income of Rp. 166.604.961,13 per hectare and Rp. 138.221.038,52 per hectare. However, during the Covid-19 pandemic, the average production of cayenne pepper in Bocek Village was 5.075,26 Kg/Ha with an aver- age revenue and income of Rp. 40.221.474,66 per hectare and Rp. 11.837.552,06 per hectare. In the analysis of production factors of cayenne pepper farming shows that the independent variables land area (X1), have a significant partial effect on the dependent variable of Cayenne Pepper Production (Y). Meanwhile, other variables such as, amount of seeds (X2), amount of manure (X3), amount of urea fertilizer (X4), amount of SP-36 fertilizer (X5), amount of ZA fertilizer (X6), amount of NPK fertilizer (X7), amount of pesticides (X8) and labor (X9) have no partial effect on Cayenne Pepper Production (Y)
