Abstract
Ruang Terbuka Hijau di Lingkungan Fakultas Pertanian universitas Brawijaya diharapkan dapat mengurangi permasalahan lingkungan, terutama menetralisir peningkatan temperatur yang disebabkan oleh aktivitas manusia. Ruang Terbuka Hijau terdapatlah unsur penting dalam membentuk lingkungan yang nyaman dan sehat. Lingkungan menjadi hal yang utama dan paling diperhatikan dalam meningkatkan Ruang Terbuka Hijau. Ruang Terbuka Hijau terdapatlah suatu lahan yang bersifat terbuka yang diisi oleh vegetasi guna memanfaatkan fungsi ekologi sosial dan estetika. Hilangnya Ruang Terbuka Hijau akan menyebabkan permasalahan lingkungan karena populasi semakin meningkat. Ruang Terbuka Hijau berfungsi untuk menyerap karbondioksida (CO2). Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendapatkan titik tak nyaman yaitu dengan nilai THI > 26 pada satu waktu di lingkungan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Brawijaya. Sehingga dapat dijadikan salah satu acuan indikator dalam perbaikan Ruang Terbuka Hijau (RTH) di lingkungan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Brawijaya. THI > 26 dipengaruhi oleh waktu (pagi, siang, dan sore).. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode Thermal Humidity Index (THI) melalui pengukuran suhu dan kelembaban udara. Penelitian dilakukan selama bulan April-Mei 2020 di Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Brawijaya. Terdapat lima lokasi penelitian yaitu Gedung Sentral, Gedung Sosial Ekonomi, Gazebo Fakultas Pertanian, Gedung Budidaya Pertanian dan Gedung Tanah Fakultas Pertanian dengan metode analisis data deskriptif kualitatif. Dalam satu hari pengamatan dilakukan tiga kali pterdapat pagi, siang, dan sore pukul 07.00 WIB, 12.00 WIB, 17.00 WIB. Hasil ditemukan bahwa termasuk kategori nyaman karena memiliki THI < 26. Namun, indeks vegetasi pohon rendah karena sebagian besar memiliki jenis yang sama dan penggunaan lahan parkir di area gedung yang dijadikan penelitian. ii Hasil analisis metode THI di 4 lokasi dengan pukul waktu yang berbeda di Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Brawijaya menujukkan bahwa pada pukul 07.00 WIB dirata-ratakan tiap jalurnya THI-nya termasuk kategori Nyaman dan juga pukul 17.00 sedangkan Pukul 12.00 WIB termasuk kategori tidak nyaman. Dapat disimpulkan titik tak nyaman pada penelitian tersebut berada pada pukul 12.00 WIB.Di karenakan pada waktu tersebut suhunya sangat panas dan sudah termasuk kategori suhu yang tidak nyaman yaitu >26,7°C dan THI (Thermal Humidity Index) pada semua lokasi kecuali RTH di Gedung Sentral pada pukul 12.00 WIB juga termasuk kategori yang tidak nyaman.
English Abstract
The existence of Green Open Space (GOS) in the Faculty of Agriculture, Brawijaya University is expected to be able to overcome the problems of the environment, especially to neutralize temperature increases caused by human activities.Green Open Space (GOS) is one of the essential elements in shiping an environment that is comfortablel and healthy. The environment becomes one of the most important and least observed to increase of Green Open Space (GOS). Green Open Space (GOS) is an open field to filled with vegetation to utilize the function of social culture and aesthetics. The loss of Green Open Space (GOS) in urban areas causes environmental problem such as increasing of polution. Green Open Space (GOS) will be avaliable a lot of plants that can absorb carbondioxide (CO2). This Study aims to find out and analysis level of comfort and vegetation of green open space in Faculty of Agriculture, Brawijaya University. The study was conducted using the Thermal Humidity Index (THI) method through temperature and humidity measurements. This research was carries out during the months of April - Mei 2020 at open green space in Faculty of Agriculture, Brawijaya University. There are five locations scattered observations, The Central Building, the Socio-Economic Building, the Gazebo for the Faculty of Agriculture, the Agricultural Cultivation Building and the Land Building for the Faculty of Agriculture. with qualitative descriptive data analysis methods. In a day of observation was done three times at 07.00 WIB, 12.00WIB, 17.00 WIB. The results are in the comfortable category because they have a THI <26. However, the tree vegetation index is low because most of them have the same type and use of parking spaces in the building area that is used for research. The results of the analysis of the THI method in 4 locations with different hours at the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Brawijaya show that at 07.00 WIB, the average THI is in the comfortable category and also at 17.00 while at 12.00 WIB iv is in the uncomfortable category. It can be said that the uncomfortable point in the study was at 12.00 WIB. This was because at that time the temperature was very hot and included in the uncomfortable temperature category, namely >26.7°C and THI (Thermal Humidity Index) in all locations except green open space in The Central Building at 12.00 WIB is also an uncomfortable category.
