Abstract
Sumber daya manusia merupakan aset penting suatu organisasi yang membutuhkan peningkatan kompetensi agar mampu berperan dalam pembangunan organisasi. Kegiatan pelatihan pada karyawan merupakan suatu upaya peningkatan kompetensi. Program pelatihan yang dilakukan RSAB Harapan Kita menggunakan model klasikal (classroom-based) merupakan metode statis, dan dapat terjadi degradasi pembelajaran. Upaya mengatasi masalah tersebut melalui pengembangan model pelatihan dengan program preseptorsip. Model pelatihan preseptorsip yaitu metode pembelajaran yang dilanjutkan di unit kerja dengan bimbingan preseptor. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui dampak model pelatihan klasikal dan preseptorsip terhadap capaian kompetensi. Penelitian menggunakan metode quasi experimental, non randomize control group pre test dan post test design. Subyek penelitian peserta pelatihan Pencegahan dan Pengendalian Infeksi yang terbagi kelompok model pelatihan klasikal 20 orang dan model pelatihan preseptorsip 21 orang. Analisis menggunakan uji Wilcoxon, Mann Whitney dan regresi linier sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan model pelatihan klasikal dan model pelatihan preseptorsip sama-sama terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pada nilai kompetensi setelah pelatihan. Hasil pengujian perbedaan rata- rata capaian kompetensi antara model pelatihan klasikal dengan preseptorsip tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan. Rata-rata capaian kompetensi model pelatihan preseptorsip lebih tinggi dibandingkan model pelatihan klasikal. Berdasarkan persepsi peserta terhadap model pelatihan klasikal berpengaruh positif namun tidak signifikan terhadap capaian kompetensi. Persepsi peserta terhadap model pelatihan preseptorsip berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap capaian kompetensi. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menunjukkan model pelatihan klasikal dan model pelatihan preseptorsip sama-sama terdapat peningkatan kompetensi setelah pelatihan. Perbedaan capaian kompetensi model pelatihan preseptorsip memberikan dampak peningkatan lebih tinggi dibandingkan model pelatihan klasikal.
English Abstract
Human Resources are an important asset of an organization which requires enhanced competence that plays a major part in the organizational development. Employee training constitutes an endeavor to elevate competence. Trainings conducted by RSAB Harapan Kita employ a classical model (classroom-based) which is a static method and is subject to degrading learning outcome. Effort to overcome these problems through the development of training models with preceptorship programs. Preceptorship training model is a learning method continued in the work unit under the guidance of a preceptor. The purpose of this research is to find out the effect of classical and preceptorship training models on the competence attainment.The research used quasi experimental method, non- randomized control group pre-test and post-test design. The research subjects are the participant of Prevention and Infection Control training, comprising a classical training model of 20 people and preceptorship model of 21 people. The analysis was conducted using Wilcoxon, Mann Whitney and simple linear regression test. Results show there was a significant difference in the competence score after the training on both classical and preceptorship model. Average achievement of competencies between the classical traing model and the preceptorship have no significant differences. The average of competence attainment of the preceptorship model was greater than that of classical model. Based on participants’ perceptions, classical training model has a positive but insignificant effect on competency achievement. Participants percept that preceptorship training model has positive and significant effect on competency achievement. It was concluded that both classical and preceptorship model affects the enhancement of competence after training. The difference is that preceptorship model results in greater enhancement classical training model.
