Abstract
Pertumbuhan ekonomi yang cepat secara umum merupakan tujuan makroekonomi dari negara-negara berkembang dalam jangka menengah hingga panjang. Salah satu ukuran pertumbuhan ekonomi adalah tingkat laju pertumbuhan ekonomi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menjelaskan pengaruh corruption perception index, trade openness, financial openness, dan index of economic freedom terhadap laju gross domestic product secara simultan dan parsial. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah explanatory research dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling, dengan menggunakan data sekunder berupa gabungan dari data cross section yaitu 6 negara di kawasan ASEAN dan time series adalah 10 tahun yang tersedia dan dipublikasikan oleh Transparency International, World Bank dan Heritage Foundation. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi data panel dengan model random effect. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa secara simultan variabel corruption perception index, trade openness, financial openness dan index of economic freedom berpengaruh terhadap laju gross domestic product. Serta, secara parsial hanya variabel financial openness berpengaruh terhadap gross domestic product dikarenakan sampel pada penelitian ini merupakan negara berkembang. Sedangkan secara parsial variabel corruption perception index dan index of economic freedom berpengaruh tidak signifikan dan memiliki hubungan yang positif terhadap laju gross domestic product. Selain itu, variabel trade openness secara parsial berpengaruh tidak signifikan dan memiliki hubungan yang negatif terhadap gross domestic product.
English Abstract
Rapid economic growth in general are the macroeconomic objective of developing countries into the medium and long term. One measure of economic growth is the rate of economic growth. This research is aims to determine and explain the effect of corruption perception index, trade openness, financial openness, and index of economic freedom on gross domestic product rate simultaneously and partially. The type of research used is explanatory research with a quantitative approach. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling, using secondary data in the form of a cross section of data that is 6 countries in the ASEAN region and the time series is 10 years available and published by Transparency International, The World Bank and Heritage Foundation. The analytical method used is panel data regression with random effect models. The results of this study indicate that simultaneously variables of corruption perception index, trade openness, financial openness, and index of economic Freedom had a significant effect on gross domestic product rate. Partially, only the financial openness variable that influences gross domestic product rate because the sample in this study a developing country. While partially the variable corruption perception index and index of economic freedom have insignificant effect and have a positive relationship with gross domestic product rate. In addition, the trade openness variable partially has insignificant effect and has a negative relationship to gross domestic product rate.
