Abstract
Kalimantan Timur merupakah salah satu provinsi yang memiliki kandungan batubara terbesar di Indonesia. Salah satu perusahaan batubara terbesar yang ada di Kalimantan Timur adalah PT. XYZ. Perusahaan tersebut tercatat memiliki jumlah produksi sebesar 33,5 juta ton batubara pada tahun 2019. Pada peneltian ini, PT XYZ merupakan objek penelitian. Adapun hal yang melatarbelakangi penelitian ini adalah adanya ketidaksesuaian antara kondisi di lapangan terhadap baku mutu air limbah Kepmen LH No.113 Tahun 2013. Persentase ketaatan di WMP 27 LT berdasarkan hasil monitoring PT XYZ periode 1-5 November 2021 berada di range 8-25%. Penelitian ini memiliki 3 tujuan penelitian yaitu mengidentifikasi akar masalah dalam pengolahan air asam tambang di WMP 27, merencakan tindakan perbaikan terhadap akar permasalahan, serta mengetahui efektifitas tindakan perbaikan yang telah dilakukan. Adapun tahapan penelitian yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini meliputi studi literatur, observasi lapang, pengumpulan data, pengolahan dan analisis data, serta hasil dan kesimpulan. Setelah itu, hasil observasi lapang diolah datanya menggunakan fishbone diagram. Tindakan perbaikan tersebut meliputi menentukan dosis kapur, membuat sistem pengukuran debit inlet, membuat perhitungan kapur berdasarkan nilai debit dan pH, membuat panduan kebutuhan kapur, merekomendasikan perusahaan menyediakan kapur sesuai uji labarotaroium, melakukan sosialisasi kepada operator WMP 27 LT, dan melakukan uji coba di lapangan. Kapur yang digunakan larutan kapur (CaO) 2 % dengan dosis 19,2 ml/L. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah akar permasalahan yang menyebabkan ketataan di WMP 27 LT periode 1-5 November meliputi 4 aspek pada fishbone diagram yaitu man, material method, dan environment. Berdasarkan hasil uji coba di lapangan terhadap tindakan perbaikan yang telah dibuat, didapatkan hasil bahwa ketaatan terhadap baku mutu air limbah pertambangan batubara (Kepmen LH No.113 Tahun 2013) parameter pH sebesar 96,44 % dengan range pH 6,05 – 8,93. Ketidaktercapaian persentase 100 % dapat diakibatkan oleh proses pengadukan yang belum optimal sehingga mengakibatkan perubahan kekentalan larutan
English Abstract
East Kalimantan is one of the provinces that has the largest coal content in Indonesia. One of the largest coal companies in East Kalimantan is PT. XYZ. The company was recorded to have a total production of 33.5 million tons of coal in 2019. In this research, PT XYZ is the object of research. The background of this research is the discrepancy between the conditions in the field and the waste water quality standard of Ministry of Environment Decree No. 113 of 2013. The percentage of compliance in WMP 27 LT based on the monitoring results of PT XYZ for the period 1-5 November 2021 is in the range of 8- 25%. This study has 3 research objectives, namely identifying the root cause of the acid mine water treatment in WMP 27, planning corrective actions to the root cause, and knowing the effectiveness of the corrective actions that have been taken. The stages of research carried out in this study include literature study, field observation, data collection, data processing and analysis, as well as results and conclusions. After that, the results of field observations were processed using a fishbone diagram. These corrective actions include determining the dose of lime, establishing an inlet flow measurement system, calculating lime based on the discharge value and pH, making a guide to lime requirements, recommending companies to provide lime according to the Labarotaroium test, conducting socialization to WMP 27 LT operators, and conducting field trials. . Lime used lime solution (CaO) 2% with a dose of 19.2 ml/L. After knowing the dose, the next thing is a field trial. The conclusion of this research is that the root cause of the problems that caused the arrangement at WMP 27 LT for the period 1-5 November includes 4 aspects of the fishbone diagram, namely man, material method, and environment. Based on the results of field trials on the corrective actions that have been made, it was found that compliance with the quality standards of coal mining wastewater (Kepmen LH No. 113 of 2013) pH parameter was 96.44% with a pH range of 6.05 - 8.93 . The unattainable percentage of 100% can be caused by the stirring process that is not optimal, resulting in changes in the viscosity of the solution
