Abstract

Saat melakukan perawatan, dokter gigi membutuhkan ketelitian di area perawatan yang relatif kecil, yaitu daerah mulut. Gangguan musculoskeletal sering terjadi akibat posisi tubuh sewaktu bekerja kurang ergonomis atau tidak nyaman dan terjadi dalam waktu yang relative lama serta berulang. Pekerjaan mahasiswa profesi kedokteran gigi dilakukan dengan posisi tubuh yang statis dan kaku pada saat melakukan perawatan di dental unit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh posisi kerja pada Mahasiswa Profesi terhadap terjadinya Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs) pada saat melakukan perawatan di Rumah Sakit Universitas Brawijaya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian analitik deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi cross sectional dengan menggunakan tabel Nordic Body Map (NBM), Test of Visual Perception (TVP), dan Rapid Entire Body Assesment (REBA) yang dilakukan pada 73 mahasiswa profesi. Pada tabel Nordic Body Map (NBM) di dapat hasil data NBM bahwa semua responden masuk dalam kriteria keluhan Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs) yang rendah. Untuk data Test of Visual Perception (TVP) didapatkan sebagian besar memiliki postur tubuh ergonomis yang baik atau dengan kata lain 75% sikap / postur tubuh yang ergonomi telah di terapkan.Sedangkan untuk Rapid Entire Body Map (REBA) didapatkan data sebagian besar responden masuk dalam risiko menengah / sedang. Hail uji korelasi diperoleh koefisien korelasi adalah -0.495 yang bertanda negatif (-) dan koefisien korelasi 0.548 yang bertanda positif (+), dapat di artikan bahwa terdapat hubungan posisi kerja baik TVP dan REBA terhadap keluhan MSDs menggunakan skor NBM. Dan hasil uji regresi didapat nilai Adj R square yaitu 0.490 dapat disimpulkan bahwa semakin tinggi risiko REBA dan TVP maka skor keluhan MSDs juga akan semakin tinggi.

English Abstract

When performing treatment, dentists require accuracy in a relatively small area of treatment, namely the mouth area. Musculoskeletal disorders often occur due to the position of the body when working is less ergonomic or uncomfortable and occurs for a long time and repeatedly. Dental profession students work with a static and rigid body position when performing treatment at the dental unit. This study aims to determine the effect of work position on professional students on the occurrence of musculoskeletal disorders during treatment at the Brawijaya University Hospital. This research is an observational analytic study with a cross sectional study approach using Nordic Body Map (NBM), Test of Visual Perception (TVP) and Rapid Entire Body Assesment (REBA) tables which was conducted on 73 professional students. In the NBM table, the results of NBM data show that all respondents fall into the low Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs) complaint criteria. For TVP data It was found that most of them had good ergonomic posture or in other words 75% of the postures that ergonomics had been applied to. Meanwhile, for REBA, data obtained that most respondents are included in the medium / medium risk. The result of the correlation test obtained that the correlation coefficient is -0.495 which is negative (-) and the correlation coefficient is 0.548 which is positive (+), it can be interpreted that there is a relationship between the work positions of both TVP and REBA on MSDs complaints using the NBM score. And the regression test results obtained Adj R square value, namely 0.490, it can be concluded that the higher the risk of REBA and TVP, the MSDs complaint score will also be higher.
