Abstract

Kejahatan atau tindakan kriminal merupakan perbuatan merugikan seseorang. Tindakan kriman bertentangan dengan norma hukum, sosial maupun agama. Berasarkan data Badan Pusat Statistika (BPS) mengenai kasus kejahatan secara umum di Indonesia meningkat pada periode 2014-2016, terutama pada kasus asusila di Jawa Timur pada tahun 2017 memasuki posisi tertinggi. Pada kasus kejahatan ditemukan alat bukti berupa sidik bibir. Sidik bibir dapat digunakan untuk identifikasi forensik untuk menyelesaikan kasus kejahatan. Pada tahun 1985-1997 di Polandia terdapat 34 kasus kejahatan yang berhasil dipecahkan menggunakan sidik bibir. Sidik bibir merupakan suatu pola kerutan dan celah pada permukaan mukosa bibir. Pola pada bibir berbeda tiap individunya karena dipengaruhi oleh faktor perbedaan jenis kelamin, ras dan usia. Jenis kelamin mempengaruhi pola sidik bibir karena perbedaan ketebalan bibir laki-laki dan perempuan berbeda. Tujuan penelitan ini untuk mengetahui perbedaan pola sidik bibir dengan metode Domiaty pada jenis kelamin mahasiswa Fakultas Kedokteran Gigi Universitas Brawijaya. Besar sampel sebanyak 80 orang, bibir subjek diaplikasikan lipstik dan ditempelkan selotip untuk mendapatkan pola sidik bibir, untuk di analisis menggunakan software adobe photoshop cc 2015 kemudian mengklasifikasikan dengan tipe Domiaty. Data dianalisis dengan uji Fisher exact test. Hasil didaptkan nilai signifikansi p<0,05. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini terdapat perbedaan pola sidik bibir antara laki-laki dan perempuan. Pola sidik bibir dominan ditemukan pada laki-laki adalah tipe C sedangkan pada perempuan pola dominan adalah tipe H.

English Abstract

Crime or criminal action is an act of harming someone. Criminal action is contrary to legal, social or religious norms. Based on the data from the Central Statistics Agency (CSA), generally, crime cases in Indonesia increased in the 2014-2016 period, especially immoral cases in East Java in 2017 became the highest position. In those crime cases, it was found evidence in the form of lip prints. Lip prints can be used for forensic identification to resolve criminal cases. In 1985-1997, there were 34 criminal cases in Poland which were solved by using lip prints. Lip prints are a pattern of wrinkles and fissures on the surface of the lip mucosa. The pattern on the lip is different for each individual because it is influenced by factors of gender, race and age. Sex affects the pattern of lip prints because there are differences in the thickness of the lips between men and women. The purpose of this study is to determine the differences between lip prints pattern using Domiaty method on sexual dimorphism of students of faculty of dentistry Brawijaya University. The sample used is taken from 80 people. The subjects’ lip is applied by lipstick then sticked with sticky tape to get lip prints pattern, to be analyzed using Adobe Photoshop CC 2015 software, then classified with Domiaty type. The data is analyzed by using Fisher exact test. The result obtained is a significance value of p <0.05. The conclusion from this study is there are differences in lip print patterns between men and women. The dominant lip print pattern found in men is type C, whereas the dominant pattern in women is type H.
