Abstract
Pendahuluan: Dalam dekade terakhir, sefalometri menjadi salah satu alat diagnostik utama yang tersedia dalam bidang ortodonti. Dengan adanya kemajuan teknologi perangkat lunak, teknik tracing metode digital dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai alternatif lain dari teknik tracing metode konvensional. Tujuan: untuk mengetahui perbedaan tracing sefalometri metode konvensional dan metode digital. Metode: Seleksi literature review dilakukan dengan pencarian database elektronik melalui PubMed dan Google Scholar, serta menggunakan MeSH (Medical Subject Heading) untuk pencarian istilah kata atau keywords data base. Pembahasan: Dari beberapa seleksi literature review yang cukup relevan menyatakan tidak ada perbedaan dari hasil tracing sefalometri metode digital dan metode konvensional. Kesimpulan: Tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan dari hasil tracing sefalometri metode digital dan metode konvensional.
English Abstract
Introduction: In the last decade, cephalometry has become one of the main diagnostic tools available in the field of orthodontics. With advances in software technology, digital tracing methods can be used as an alternative to conventional tracing methods. Objective: to determine the difference between conventional method cephalometric tracing and digital method. Methods: Selection of literature reviews was carried out by searching electronic databases through PubMed and Google Scholar, and using MeSH (Medical Subject Heading) to search for word terms or keywords in the database. Result: From several relevant literature reviews, there is no difference between the results of the cephalometric tracing of the digital method and the conventional method. Conclusion: There is no significant difference between the cephalometric tracing results of the digital method and the conventional method.
