Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan memberikan bukti empiris pengaruh kebijakan hutang dan profitabilitas terhadap nilai perusahaan dengan tata kelola perusahaan sebagai variabel moderasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder pada perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode lima tahun dari tahun 2016 sampai dengan tahun 2020. Pemilihan sampel menggunakan metode purposive sampling sehingga diperoleh total 195 sampel yang memenuhi kriteria yang ditetapkan. Penelitian ini diuji dengan menggunakan Moderated Regression Analysis. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan bukti bahwa kebijakan hutang dan profitabilitas memiliki pengaruh terhadap nilai perusahaan. Tata kelola perusahaan mampu memoderasi profitabilitas terhadap nilai perusahaan. Namun tata kelola perusahaan tidak dapat memoderasi kebijakan hutang terhadap nilai perusahaan.
English Abstract
The purpose of this research is to assess and provide empirical evidences regarding the effect of debt policy and profitability on firm value with corporate governance aas the moderating variable. This study uses secondary data acquired from manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period of 2016-2020. Using purposive sampling, 195 companies meeting the predetermined criteria were selected as the sample. The results of the Moderated Regression Analysis have led to findings that debt policy and profitability affect firm value, that corporate governance moderates the effect of profitability on firm value, and that corporate governance cannot moderate the effect of debt policy on firm value.
