Pengaruh Nanotransfersome Gel Ekstrak Kulit Jeruk Nipis (Citrus aurantifolia Swingle) Terhadap Jumlah Makrofag Pada Penyembuhan Luka Mukosa Labial Tikus Wistar

Abstract

Ulkus merupakan suatu keadaan patologis yang ditandai dengan hilangnya jaringan epitel akibat dari ekskavasi permukaan jaringan yang lebih dalam dari jaringan epitel. Ekstrak kulit jeruk nipis (Citrus aurantifolia Swingle) mengandung flavonoid yang dapat berfungsi sebagai antiinflamasi dalam proses penyembuhan luka. Nanotransfersome memiliki sifat fleksibel dan dapat mengecilkan dirinya melalui area yang lebih kecil dari diameter transfersome itu sendiri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian nanotrasnfersome gel ekstrak kulit jeruk nipis terhadap jumlah makrofag pada proses penyembuhan luka mukosa labial tikus wistar. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan Randomized Post Test Only Control Group dengan time series 3 hari dan 7 hari dengan kelompok K (tanpa perlakuan), P1 (diberi nanotransfersome gel ekstrak kulit jeruk nipis), P2 (diberi gel ekstrak kulit jeruk nipis), dan P3 (diberi obat herbal berstandar aloe vera gel). Pemberian perlakuan dilakukan pada luka mukosa labial dua kali sehari pada pagi hari dan sore hari. Penghitungan preparat dilakukan dengan pewarnaan HE menggunakan mikroskop cahaya dengan perbesaran 400x per lima lapang pandang. Pada hasil uji Independent T-Test, One Way ANOVA, dan Post Hoc Tukey menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan jumlah sel makrofag antar masing-masing kelompok (p<0,05) dan pada hasil uji korelasi Pearson menunjukkan hasil positif (meningkat) pada time series 3 dan negatif (menurun) pada time series 7(p<0,05). Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah nanotransfersome gel ekstrak kulit jeruk nipis berpengaruh terhadap jumlah makrofag pada penyembuhan luka mukosa labial tikus wistar.

English Abstract

Ulcer is a pathological condition characterized by the loss of epithelial tissue as a result of excavation of the deeper tissue surface of the epithelial tissue. Extract of lime peel (Citrus aurantifolia Swingle) contains flavonoid which have antiinflammatory effects. Nanotransfersome is flexible and be able to squeeze through the area smaller than the diameter of the transfersome itself. The aim of this study was to determine the effect of lime peel extract nanotransfersome gel on the expression of macrophage in labial mucosal of wistar rats wound healing. This study used Randomized Post Test Only Control Group design with time series 3 days and 7 days with group K (without treatment), P1 (treated with lime peel extract gel), P2 (treated with lime peel extract nanotransfersome gel), and P3 (treated with aloe vera standardized herbal medicine). The treatment applied to the labial mucosal wound twice a day in the morning and evening. The slides were stained with HE staining and counted using a light microscope with magnification of 400x per five fields of view. Based on the results of the Independent T-Test, One Way ANOVA test, and Post Hoc Tukey test there was a significant difference in the number of macrophages between each group (p <0.05) and the result of correlation Pearson test showed positive result (increasing) in 3 days time series and negative (decreasing) in 7 days time series (p <0.05). The conclusion of this study was the lime peel extract nanotransfersome gel had an effect on the expression of macrophages in labial mucosal of Wistar rat wound healing.
