Abstract
Karies gigi adalah penyakit multifaktorial yang disebabkan oleh faktor determinan dan risiko seperti fluor. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis kandungan kadar fluor gigi desidui karies anak usia dini Junrejo dengan metode Spektrofotometri UV-VIS. Metode penelitian bersifat observasional analitik dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Variabel yang diteliti adalah kandungan fluor gigi desidui dan karies gigi. Diketahui kandungan fluor air minum Junrejo adalah <0,0821 mg/L (kadar fluornya termasuk rendah karena kandungan standar menurut Laboratorium Penguji Jasa Tirta I Kota Malang adalah sekitar 1,5 mg/L). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rerata kandungan fluor gigi desidui yang terbaca dari Spektrofotometri UV-VIS termasuk sangat rendah, masing-masing yaitu 9,97 mg/L dengan standar deviasi sebesar 0,189 (gigi desidui karies) dan 12,76 mg/L dengan standar deviasi sebesar 0,1829 (gigi desidui bebas karies). Hasil pemeriksaan indeks dmf-t pada 47 responden menyatakan bahwa 61,7% responden memiliki tingkat kejadian karies yang sangat tinggi, 14,8% responden memiliki tingkat kejadian karies yang tinggi, 6,38% responden memiliki tingkat kejadian karies sedang, 4,2 % responden memiliki tingkat kejadian karies rendah dan 12.7% responden memiliki tingkat kejadian karies yang sangat rendah. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah metode spektrofotometri UV-VIS dapat digunakan dan hasilnya membuktikan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang erat (0,848) dan pengaruh yang sangat kuat (0,719) dari tingkat konsumsi air sumber dengan kadar fluor rendah terhadap kejadian karies gigi anak usia dini di Desa Junrejo Batu.
English Abstract
Dental caries is a multifactorial disease caused by determinants and risk factors such as fluorine. The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the fluorine content of Junrejo's early childhood caries deciduous teeth using the UV-VIS spectrophotometric method. The research method is analytic observational with a cross-sectional approach. The variables studied were the fluorine content of deciduous teeth and dental caries. It is known that the fluorine content of Junrejo drinking water is <0.0821 mg / L (the fluorine level is low because the standard content according to the laboratory of Jasa Tirta in Malang City is around 1.5 mg / L). The results showed that the mean fluorine content of deciduous teeth as read from the UV-VIS spectrophotometry was very low, respectively 9.97 mg / L with a standard deviation of 0.189 (caries deciduous teeth) and 12.76 mg / L with a standard deviation of 0.1829 (deciduous teeth free of caries). The results of the dmf-t index examination on 47 respondents stated that 61.7% of respondents had a very high incidence of caries, 14.8% of respondents had a high incidence of caries, 6.38% of respondents had a moderate incidence of caries, 4.2 % of respondents had a low incidence of caries and 12.7% of respondents had a very low incidence of caries. The conclusion of this study is the UV-VIS spectrophotometric method can be used and the results prove that there is a close relationship (0.848) and a very strong effect (0.719) of the level of consumption of source water with low fluorine levels on the incidence of early childhood dental caries in Junrejo Batu Village.
