Abstract

Latar Belakang : Limbah cair tahu merupakan limbah dengan kdanungan isoflavon yang memiliki potensi sebagai nutrasetikal. Dalam pengembangannya, perlu dilakukan uji toksisitas untuk menguji keamanan produk. Hepar merupakan salah satu organ yang berperan aktif dalam detoksifikasi. Tujuan: mengetahui keberadaan efek toksik limbah cair tahu terhadap hepar tikus wistar (Rattus norvegicus) sebagai nutrasetikal. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan true experimental in vivo. Sampel berupa hewan coba tikus wistar jantan, dibagi menjadi 6 kelompok kontrol dan kelompok perlakuan yang dibedakan perdosis. Pemberian limbah cair tahu dilakukan selama 28 hari dengan penambahan 14 hari tanpa perlakuan untuk kelompok satelit. SGOT dan SGPT dianalisa. Hasil: pengujian oneway ANOVA menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan signifikan pada uji SGOT dan SGPT (p<0,05)

English Abstract

Backgroud : Liquid tofu waste is one of the waste that has isoflavone in it dan has the potential in health sector as a nutraceutical. In the process of nutraceutical product development based on liquid tofu waste, toxicity test is necessary to test the safety of product. Liver is one of the organ that has an important role in detixification. Purpose: Determine the toxic effect of liquid tofu waste against Wistar liver as a nutraceutical. Method: This study uses true experimental in vivo. Samples are Wistar rat, devided into six group, which are control group (K), dose 1 group (6ml/kgW;D1), dose 2 group (12 ml/kgW;D2), dose 3 group (18 ml/kgW;D3), satelite dose 1 (6ml/kgW;S1), dan satelite dose 3 (18 ml/kgW;S3). Tofu waste water was given for 28 days with 14 days without treatment for satelite dose group. SGOT dan SGPT level were observed. Result: Oneway ANOVA showed that there were significant difference in SGOT dan SGPT in satelite dose 1 dan 3 (p<0,05)
