Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan menjelaskan pengaruh perceived external prestige terhadap perilaku menyimpang di tempat kerja, serta menguji dan menjelaskan pengaruh mediasi variabel kepuasan kerja dan komitmen organisasional dalam memediasi pengaruh perceived external prestige terhadap perilaku menyimpang di tempat kerja. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu Aparatur Sipil Negara (ASN) Pemerintah Daerah Kabupaten Kediri Jawa Timur khususnya Organisasi Pemerintah Daerah (OPD) Badan Kepegawaian Daerah, Dinas Perhubungan, Badan Pengelola dan Aset Daerah dengan jumlah sampel 117 ASN. Penelitian ini menggunakan sampling jenuh. Metode analisis yang digunakan yaitu Partial Least Square (PLS) dengan teknik analisis Metode Structural Equation Modelling Partial Least Square (SEM PLS). Data dianalisis dengan pemrograman statistik WarpPLS untuk mengevaluasi outer model dan inner model. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perceived external prestige berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap perilaku menyimpang di tempat kerja. Kepuasan kerja dan komitmen organisasional berperan sebagai variabel mediasi sebagian (partial mediation) pada pengaruh perceived external prestige terhadap perilaku kerja yang menyimpang.
English Abstract
The goals of this study are to assess and explain the effect of perceived external prestige on Deviant Workplace Behavior and the mediation of job satisfaction and organizational commitment in the effect of perceived external prestige on Deviant Workplace Behavior. The population of this study is state civil apparatuses in the local governments of Kediri regency in East Java, particularly in local government agencies (OPD), i.e. the Regional Civil Service Body, Transportation Service, and the Office for Regional Revenue and Asset Management. Using saturated sampling, all 117 state employees in the departments were selected as the sample. The data was analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares, performed in WarpPLS to evaluate the outer and inner model. This study finds that perceived external prestige has significant and negative effect on deviant workplace behavior, and that job satisfaction and organizational commitment partially mediate the effect of perceived external prestige on deviant workplace behavior.
