Abstract

Kejadian HIV AIDS pada remaja dan kelompok usia muda di dunia termasuk tinggi dan menjadi penyebab kematian keenam dan kedelapan pada kelompok usia 10-19 tahun. Remaja sebagai populasi kunci sering memiliki pengetahuan yang lebih rendah tentang risiko HIV AIDS, atau kemampuan yang lebih rendah dalam memahami penyakit HIV AIDS. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendidikan kesehatan menggunakan film pendek terhadap pengetahuan remaja tentang HIV AIDS pada siswa kelas X di SMAN 8 Malang. Design penelitian ini menggunakan design quasi eksperimental dengan pendekatan two group pre-test dan post-test design. Jumlah sample sebanyak 32 responden menggunakan teknik simple random sampling dengan pembagian 16 responden untuk kelompok film pendek dan 16 responden untuk kelompok leaflet. Analisis data menggunakan Uji Independent Test dan Uji N-Gain . Hasil penelitian ini adalah terdapat perbedaan signifikan nilai rata-rata pre test dan post test pendidikan kesehatan menggunakan film pendek dengan nilai p value sebesar 0,000<0,05 sedangkan pada kelompok leaflet dengan nilai p value sebesar 0,000<0,05. Dapat disimpulkan bila terdapat pengaruh pendidikan kesehatan tentang HIV AIDS menggunakan film dan leaflet terhadap pengetahuan remaja dengan nilai p value sebesar 0,000<0,05. Dan berdasarkan nilai uji N-Gain didapatkan bahwa media film pendek tentang HIV AIDS cukup efektif sebagai salah satu upaya pendidikan kesehatan tentang HIV AIDS.

English Abstract

The incidence of HIV AIDS in adolescents and young age groups in the world is high and the sixth and eighth cause of death in the 10-19 year age group. Adolescents as a key population often have lower knowledge about the risks of HIV AIDS, or a lower ability to understand HIV AIDS. This study aims to determine the effect of health education using short films on adolescent knowledge about HIV AIDS on students in classX at SMAN 8 Malang. The design of this study used a quasi-experimental design with two group pre-test and post-test design approach. The number of samples as many as 32 respondents using simple random sampling technique with the division of 16 respondents for the short film group and 16 respondents for the leaflet group. Data analysis using Independent Test and N-Gain Test. The results of this study are that there is a significant difference in the average pre-test and post-test with a p value of 0.000<0.05, while in the leaflet group the average pre-test and post test with a p value of 0, 000 <0.05. It can be concluded that there is an effect of health education on HIV AIDS using films and leaflets on adolescent knowledge with p value of 0.000<0.05. And based on the value of the N-Gain test, it was found that the short film media about HIV AIDS is quite effective as one of the health education efforts about HIV AIDS.
