Abstract
Pemanasan global (global warming) menjadi salah satu isu di dunia yang disebabkan oleh peningkatan jumlah CO2 di atmosfer. Kondisi seperti ini akan mempengaruhi peningkatan temperatur bumi. Peningkatan ini mengakibatkan iklim global berubah seperti perubahan curah hujan dan naiknya intensitas frekuensi badai, naiknya pasang surut laut akibat memuainya air laut pada temperatur yang lebih tinggi. Dampak pemanasan global lainnya seperti, es abadi akan mencair di kawasan kutub bumi, salinitas menurun dan sedimentasi meningkat di kawasan pesisir dan lautan, sehingga semakin mengancam keberlanjutan sumber daya alam pesisir dan laut sebagai penyangga kehidupan manusia (Latuconsina, 2010). Penelitian mengenai analisis biomassa dan cadangan karbon pada ekosistem hutan mangrove di Desa Lembung Galis Pamekasan telah dilakukan pada bulan Juli 2020, dengan melihat potensi biomassa dan cadangan karbon. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survey. Terdapat lima jenis mangrove yang ditemukan pada kawasan mangrove Desa Lembung, yaitu: Avicennia marina, Rhizophora apiculata, Rhizophora mucronata, Rhizophora styllossa dan Sonneratia alba. Nilai simpanan dan serapan karbon terbesar berturut didapatkan oleh jenis Sonneratia alba, Rhizophora styllossa, Rhizophora apiculata, Rhizophora mucronata dan jenis Avicennia marina Estimasi stok karbon pada kawasan mangrove Desa Lembung Galis Pamekasan sebesar 690,27 ton C/ha. Nilai estimasi stok karbon bersumber dari bagian atas permukaan mangrove hidup dengan nilai 460.96 ton C/ha, organik mati sebesar 0.91 ton C/ha, dan sedimen sebesar ton 228.40 C/ha
English Abstract
Global warming is one of the issues in the world caused by an increase in the amount of CO² in the atmosphere. Conditions like this will affect the increase in the earth's temperature. This increase has resulted in changes in the global climate such as changes in rainfall and increased intensity of storm frequencies, rising sea tides due to the expansion of sea water at higher temperatures. Other impacts of global warming such as eternal ice will melt in the Earth's polar regions, decreased salinity and increased sedimentation in coastal and ocean areas, thus threatening the sustainability of coastal and marine natural resources as a support for human life (Latuconsina, 2010). Research on the analysis of biomass and carbon stocks in the mangrove forest ecosystem in Lembung Galis Village, Pamekasan was conducted in July 2020, by looking at the potential of biomass and carbon stocks. The research method used is a survey method. There are five types of mangroves found in the mangrove area of Lembung Village, namely: Avicennia marina, Rhizophora apiculata, Rhizophora mucronata, Rhizophora styllossa and Sonneratia alba. The largest carbon storage and uptake values were obtained by Sonneratia alba, Rhizophora styllossa, Rhizophora apiculata, Rhizophora mucronata and Avicennia marina species, respectively. The estimated carbon stock in the mangrove area of Lembung Galis Village, Pamekasan, is 690.27 tons C/ha. The estimated value of carbon stock comes from the upper surface of living mangroves with a value of 460.96 tons C/ha, dead organics at 0.91 tons C/ha, and sediments at 228.40 tons C/ha.
