Abstract
Latar Belakang: Tumor otak meningioma adalah tumor sistem saraf pusat (SSP) primer yang paling sering dilaporkan, berasal dari sel meningeal arachnoid dan termasuk dalam kelompok neoplasma ekstra-aksial intrakranial (Ihwan, 2017). Meningioma sebagian besar bersifat jinak, namun lokasi tumor dapat mengakibatkan kondisi serius dan mengancam jiwa (Wiemels,2010). Lokasi meningioma dapat menyebabkan gejala klinik yang bervariasi dan sangat menentukan prognosis serta pilihan terapi. (Ihwan, 2017). Studi retrospeektif sebelumnya menunjukkan bahwa defisit neurologis gambaran radiologis, lokasi tumor berhubungan siggnifikan dengan kesintasan yang lebih rendah pada pasien tumor otal meningioma (Laila, 2019, Zaher et al., 2013, Roelche, 2013). Penelitian analitik ini merupakan yang pertama dan bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi fakto yang berpengaruh terhadap status fungsional pasien tumor otak meningioma di RSUD dr. Saiful Anwar Malang. Tujuan Penelitian: Mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap status fungsional pasien tumor otak meningioma di RSUD Dr. Saiful Anwar Malang Metode dan Sampel Penelitian: Studi retrospektif analitik, cross sectional study, dengan 62 sampel dari kunjungan pasien tumor otak meningioma di RSUD dr. Saiful Anwar Malang selama bulan Januari 2017 hingga Desember 2020. Teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu nonprobability sampling jenis total sampling dari data register tumor otak Neurologi. Hasil Penelitian: Penurunan kesadaran (GCS) berkorelasi signifikan terhadap status fungsional yaitu Karnofsky Performance Scale < 70 (p: 0,013)(OR: 18,692). Kejang berkorelasi signifikan terhadap status fungsional yaitu nilai Karnofsky Performance Scale > 70 (p: 0,015)(OR: 15.415). Lokasi tumor berkorelasi signifikan terhadap status fungsional yaitu nilai Karnofsky Performance Scale > 70. Kesimpulan: Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi terhadap status fungsional (KPS) pasien tumor otak meningioma di RSUD Dr. Saiful Anwar Malang adalah penurunan kesadaran (GCS), kejang dan lokasi tumor
English Abstract
Background: Meningioma brain tumors are the most commonly reported primary central nervous system (CNS) tumors, originating from arachnoid meningeal cells and belonging to the intracranial extra-axial neoplasm group (Ihwan, 2017). Meningiomas are mostly benign, but the location of the tumor can result in serious and life-threatening conditions (Wiemels, 2010). The location of the meningioma can cause a variety of clinical symptoms and greatly determines the prognosis and choice of therapy. (Ihwan, 2017). Previous retrospective studies showed that neurologic deficits, radiological features, tumor location were significantly associated with lower survival in meningioma brain tumor patients (Laila, 2019, Zaher et al., 2013, Roelche, 2013). This analytical study is the first and aims to identify the factors that influence the functional status of meningioma brain tumor patients in dr. Saiful Anwar Hospital Malang. Objectives: To determine the factors that influence the functional status of meningioma brain tumor patients in Dr. Hospital. Saiful Anwar Malang Methods and Samples: An analytic retrospective study, cross sectional study, with 62 samples from the visit of meningioma brain tumor patients in RSUD dr. Saiful Anwar Malang during January 2017 to December 2020. The sampling technique is non-probability sampling type total sampling from Neurology brain tumor register data. Results: Decreased consciousness (GCS) significantly correlated with functional status, namely Karnofsky Performance Scale <70 (p: 0.013) (OR: 18.692). Seizures correlated significantly with functional status, namely the Karnofsky Performance Scale score > 70 (p: 0.015) (OR: 15,415). Tumor location is significantly correlated with functional status, namely the Karnofsky Performance Scale value > 70. Conclusion: The factors that influence the functional status (KPS) of meningioma brain tumor patients at Dr. Saiful Anwar Malang is a decrease in consciousness (GCS), seizures and tumor location
