Abstract
Employee engagement merupakan tingkat keterikatan yang dimiliki karyawan untuk dapat merasa engaged dan terlibat dengan pekerjaannya dan perusahaan. Dalam mempertahankan sumber daya manusia yang memiliki kinerja dan engagement yang tinggi, perusahaan perlu memperhatikan motivasi kerja yang dimiliki para karyawan. Terutama bagi para karyawan yang bekerja di lingkungan rumah sakit di tengah situasi pandemi Covid-19 yang memiliki rasa khawatir mengenai pekerjaan dan dampaknya terhadap dirinya sendiri dapat menurunkan motivasinya dalam bekerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh motivasi kerja yang meliputi existence need, relatedness need, dan growth need baik secara parsial maupun simultan terhadap employee engagement RSIA Muhammadiyah Probolinggo. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif. Penelitian dilakukan pada 59 karyawan non-medis RSIA Muhammadiyah Probolinggo menggunakan teknik nonprobability sampling dengan jenis sampel jenuh. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial existence need mempunyai pengaruh yang tidak signifikan terhadap employee engagement RSIA Muhammadiyah Probolinggo sebesar 15,6%; relatedness need juga mempunyai pengaruh yang tidak signifikan terhadap employee engagement RSIA Muhammadiyah Probolinggo sebesar 4,4%; sementara growth need mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap employee engagement RSIA Muhammadiyah Probolinggo sebesar 52%. Selain itu, diketahui bahwa motivasi kerja yang meliputi existence need, relatedness need, growth need secara simultan mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap employee engagement RSIA Muhammadiyah Probolinggo sebesar 40,3%, dan sisanya sebesar 59,7% variabel employee engagement (Y) dapat dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain di luar penelitian ini. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, disarankan RSIA Muhammadiyah Probolinggo dapat memperhatikan lagi existence need karyawan, seperti kebutuhan tunjangan yang belum sesuai harapan, serta relatedness need seperti kebutuhan dengan atasan yang dapat mengerti harapan dan menerima pendapat karyawan, dan tetap mempertahankan growth need yang sudah baik. Bagi peneliti selanjutnya diharapkan dapat mengembangkan penelitian ini dengan mempertimbangkan variabel lain di luar penelitian ini, seperti budaya organisasi dan kepemimpinan.
English Abstract
Employee engagement is the level of attachment one has to be able to feel involved and involved with employees and the company. In maintaining human resources that have high performance and engagement, companies need to pay attention to employees' work motivation. Especially for employees who are at home in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic situation who have a sense of worry about work and themselves can reduce their motivation at work. This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of work motivation, which includes existence needs, relatedness needs, and growth needs both partially and simultaneously on employee engagement at RSIA Muhammadiyah Probolinggo. This research uses quantitative research methods. The study was conducted on 59 non-medical employees of RSIA Muhammadiyah Probolinggo using a nonprobability sampling technique with a saturated sample type. Analysis of the data used is multiple linear regression. The results showed that partially the existence of the need to have an insignificant effect on employee engagement at RSIA Muhammadiyah Probolinggo was 15.6%; the need for linkage also has an insignificant effect on employee engagement at RSIA Muhammadiyah Probolinggo by 4.4%; while growth needs to have a significant effect on employee engagement at RSIA Muhammadiyah Probolinggo by 52%. Additionally, it is well established that work motivation which includes existence need, relatedness need, growth need simultaneously has a significant influence on employee engagement at RSIA Muhammadiyah Probolinggo by 40.3%, and the remaining 59.7% variable Employee Engagement (Y) can be influenced by factors others outside of this study. Based on the results of the study, it is suggested that RSIA Muhammadiyah Probolinggo can pay attention to the existence needs of employees, such as the need for benefits that are not as expected, as well as relatedness needs such as the need for a superior who can understand expectations and accept employee opinions, and still maintain a good growth need. Future researchers are expected to be able to develop this research by considering other variables outside of this research, such as organizational culture and leadership.
