Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan menganalisa pengaruh orientasi kewirausahaan terhadap kinerja organisasi dengan learning organization dan competitive advantage sebagai variabel mediasi di industri kreatif sub bidang Fashion di Malang Raya. Rancangan penelitian ini tergolong penelitian kuantitatif yang diharapkan dapat menguji pengaruh antar variabel. Variabel-variabel penelitian diukur dengan menggunakan kuesioner pada 100 perusahaan yang disebarkan ke perusahaan dalam industry kreatif sub bidang Fashion yang berada di Malang Raya. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan Smart Partial Least Square (SmartPLS). Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa learning organization terbukti sebagai variabel intervening atau mediasi yang menghubungkan variabel entrepreneurial orientation dengan kinerja organisasi dengan sifat mediasi partial, demikian juga competitive advantage merupakan variabel mediasi pengaruh keduanya tetapi dengan sifat mediasi mutlak. Penelitian ini juga menegaskan bahwa untuk mencapai kinerja yang unggul harus mampu menerapkan orientasi kewirausahaan dengan selalu berinovasi baik produk, proses mapun pelayanan, selalu proaktif dalam menghadapi perubahan lingkungan dan cenderung berani mengambil resiko untuk melakukan aktivitas yang kemungkinan hasil sulit untuk diprediksi. Insdutri kreatif yang sarat dengan kreatifitas dan inovasi mengaharuskan perusahaan untuk membri ruang kepada anggota organisasi untuk melakukan pembelajaran secara terus menerus dan berkelanjutan. Secara teoritis penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memperkaya dan melengkapi khasanah ilmu pengetahuan dibidang ilmu manajemen khususnya yang berhubungan dengan teori resources based view. Semakin tingginya pemahaman tentang orientasi kewirausahaan diharapkan dapat memberi ruang organisasi untuk terus belajar yang diharapkan dapat meningkatkan keunggulan kompetisi yang pada akhirnya dapat meningkatkan kinerja organisasi. Secara praktis penelitian ini dapat digunakan oleh pelaku usaha khususnya pelaku usaha bidang fesyen sebagai rujukan bagaimana mengelola perusahaan sehingga bisa meningkatkan daya saing yang pada akhirnya dapat menigkatan kinerja organisasi.

English Abstract

This study aims to analyze and identify entrepreneurship on organizational performance with learning organizations and competitive advantage as a mediating variable in the creative industry in Malang Raya. The design of this study is classified as quantitative research which is expected to test the influence between variables. The variables of the study were measured by using a questionnaire on 100 companies distributed to companies in the creative industry at subfield of Fashion in Malang Raya. Data processing is done using Smart Partial Least Square (SmartPLS). Research findings show that learning organization is proven as an intervening variable that connects entrepreneurial orientation variables with organizational performance with partial mediation properties, as well as competitive advantage is a mediating variable that influences both but with absolute mediation. This research also emphasizes that to achieve superior performance must be able to apply entrepreneurial orientation by always innovating both products, processes, and services, always proactive in dealing with environmental changes and tend to take risks to carry out activities that are likely to be difficult to predict. Creative industries that are full of creativity and innovation require companies to provide space for organizational members to carry out learning continuously and sustainably. Theoretically, this research is expected to enrich and complete the repertoire of science in the field of management science, especially those related to the resources based view theory. The higher understanding of entrepreneurial orientation is expected to provide organizational space for continuing learning which is expected to increase competition excellence which can ultimately improve organizational performance. Practically this research can be used by business people, especially business people in the fashion sector as a reference for how to manage a company so that it can improve competitiveness which in turn can enhance organizational performance.
