Abstract
Pemanasan global atau sering disebut Global Warming merupakan sebuah kejadian dimana meningkatnya temeperatur dan juga merupakan adanya ketidakseimbangan antar ekosistem yang ada di bumi. Dampak dari pemanasan global cukup luas. Hal ini mendorong suatu pergerakan ke arah pembangunan berkelanjutan (sustainable development). Green building merupakan salah satu bagian dari pembangunan berkelanjutan (sustainable development). Green building dapat menjadi solusi pembangunan dalam mengurangi dampak global warming. Mengingat besar manfaat dan begitu pentingnya pembangunan berkelanjutan (sustainable development) untuk kehidupan manusia, penerapan green building juga diperuntukkan untuk fasilitas institusi pendidikan. Gedung Fakultas Teknologi Pertaninan Universitas Brawijaya merupakan salah satu bangunan institusi pendidkan di Kota Malang. Metode yang digunakan untuk menilai objek penelitian adala metode analisis kualitatif dengan pendekatan metode deskriptif analisis dan evaluatif. Cara pengambilan datanya berupa observasi dengan wawancara narasumber dan pengguna, dokumentasi, pengukuran lapangan, dan studi literatur. Hasil evaluasi green building menunjukkan untuk kriteria Material Resource and Cycle, Gedung FTP hanya mendapat 5,5 poin dari 12 poin maksimal yang dapat diperoleh. Hasil yang sama juga juga didapat Gedung FTP dari kriteria Indoor Health and Comfort hanya mendapat 5 poin dari 20 poin maksimal. Rekomendasi berupa perbaikan terhadap Gedung FTP UB akan diberikan kepada manajemen puncak Fakultas Teknologi Pertanian Universitas Brawijaya, sehingga diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kualitas bangunan
English Abstract
Global warming is an phenomenon in which the earth's temperature rises and ecosystem imbalance occurs. The impact of global warming is quite extensive. This encourages movement towards sustainable development. Green building is one of sustainable development practices. Green building can be a solution of building construction in reducing its impact to climate change. Given the great benefits and the importance of sustainable development for human life, the application of green building is also intended for educational institution facilities. The faculty of Agricultural Technology, Universitas Brawijaya, is one of the educational institutions in Malang CityThe method used to assess the research objects is qualitative analysis method with a with descriptive analysis and evaluative approach. The data collection will be performed by interviewing the people and users in charge, documentation, measurements in the location, and literature studies. The results of the green building evaluation show that for the Material Resource and Cycle criteria, the FTP Building only gets 5,5 points out of the maximum 12 points that can be obtained. The same result was also obtained by FTP building from indoor health criteria and comfort criteria only got 5 points out of 20 points. Recommendations regarding the improvements to the FTP UB Building will be given to the top management of the Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Universitas Brawijaya, so that it is expected to improve the quality of the building.
