Abstract

Penelitian ini bermaksud memetakan Curve Number (CN) secara spasial, yaitu sebagai fungsi dari tata guna lahan, jenis tanah (kelompok hidrologis tanah) dan kelerengan di Sub-DAS Lesti. Metodologi ini terdiri dari membangun pemodelan CN yang sesuai untuk memprediksi debit di Sub-DAS Lesti dengan meng-overlay-kan peta tata gunalahan, kelerengan dan jenis tanah. Hasil overlay kemudian dirujuk ke tabel hubungan CN dengan hydrologic cover complexes untuk menghasilkan zonasi CN dari Sub-DAS Lesti. Nilai CN juga diperoleh dari rumus matematika dengan input kedalaman hujan dan debit hasil pengamatan tahun 1993 – 2005. Akurasi model CN spasial disbanding CN hasil pemgamatan cukup tinggi. Model CN spasial menghasilkan CN rata-rata 64, sedangkan CN hasil perhitungan matematis dari pengamatan = 68. Model CN spasial ini lebih akurat karena mempertimbangkan karakteristik DAS. Hasil pemodelan CN untuk Sub-DAS Lesti cukup akurat seperti yang dibuat oleh Departemen Pertanian Amerika Serikat (USDA) di AS. Selain itu, pemetaan CN dapat langsung digunakan oleh insinyur manajer dan perancang pada struktur sumber daya air di sub-DAS Lesti.

English Abstract

This study intends to map the Curve Number (CN) spatially, that is, as a function of land use, soil type (soil hydrological group) and slope in the Lesti Sub-watershed. This methodology consists of building appropriate CN modeling to predict runoff in the Lesti Sub-watershed by overlaying maps of land use, slope and soil type. The overlay results are then referred to the CN relationship table with hydrologic cover complexes to produce CN zoning from the Lesti watershed. The CN value was also obtained from a mathematical formula with input depth of rain and discharge observed from 1993-2005. The accuracy of the spatial CN model compared to the CN observed was quite high. The spatial CN model produces an average CN of 64, while the CN mathematical calculation results from observations = 68. This spatial CN model is more accurate because it considers the characteristics of the watershed. The CN modeling results for the Lesti Sub-watershed are quite accurate as those made by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) in the US. In addition, CN mapping can be directly used by manager engineers and designers on the water resources structure in the Lesti sub-watershed.
