Abstract
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh orientasi kewirausahaan, orientasi pasar, dan kapasitas penyerapan terhadap kinerja bisnis. Dalam penelitian ini kedudukan orientasi pasar dan kapasitas penyerapan sebagai variabel mediasi dan lingkungan eksternal bisnis sebagai variabel moderasi. Populasi dan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah IKM sektor kerajinan Jawa Timur, dengan unit analisis adalah pemilik atau pengelola IKM. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner baik secara online maupun offline, dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 247 orang. Teknik analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan structural equation model partial least square (SEM PLS). Hasil yang diperoleh adalah orientasi kewirausahaan berpengaruh tidak signifikan terhadap kinerja bisnis, sedangkan orientasi kewirausahaan terhadap orientasi pasar berpengaruh signifikan. Sementara itu pengaruh orientasi kewirausahaan terhadap kapasitas penyerapan berpengaruh signifikan. Orientasi pasar terhadap kinerja bisnis berpengaruh signifikan, dan kapasitas penyerapan berpengaruh tidak signifikan terhadap kinerja bisnis. Lingkungan eksternal bisnis berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja bisnis. Temuan penelitian ini adalah orientasi kewirausahaan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kapasitas penyerapan tetapi kapasitas penyerapan berpengaruh tidak signifikan terhadap kinerja bisnis sehingga tidak menjadi mediasi dari hubungan orientasi kewirausahaan terhadap kinerja bisnis. Lingkungan eksternal bisnis tidak memoderasi hubungan orientasi kewirausahaan terhadap kinerja bisnis.
English Abstract
The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of entrepreneurial orientation, market orientation, and absorptive capacity on business performance, where market orientation and absorptive capacity are the mediator variables, and external business environment is the moderating variable. The population and sample of this study are small and medium-sized craft industries in East Java, where the owners or managers arethe unit of analysis. The data was collected from both online and offline questionairesdistributed to 247 respondents and was analyzed using Structural Equation Modelling Partial Least Squares (SEM PLS). The results show the entrepreneurial orientation has no significant effect on business performance, but it has a significant effect on market orientation, absorptive capacity, and business performance. Furthermore, absorptive capacity has no significant effect on business performance, and external business environment has a significant effect on business performance. This study finds that entrepreneurial orientation has a significant effect on absorptive capacity, but absorptive capacity has no significant effect on business performance, so it does not mediate the relationship between entrepreneurial orientation and business performance. Finally, external business environment does not moderate the relationship between entrepreneurial orientation and business performance.
