Abstract

Pengetahuan dapat diperoleh seseorang melalui berbagai sumber dan media, salah satunya melalui Non-Governmental Organization (NGO). Pengetahuan sendiri terbagi menjadi dua jenis yakni pengetahuan tacit dan explicit. Kedua jenis pengetahuan ini dapat diperoleh seseorang melalui proses knowledge sharing atau berbagi pengetahuan. Malang Corruption Watch (MCW) merupakan salah satu NGO di wilayah Malang Raya yang menerapkan proses berbagi pengetahuan dalam kegiatan-kegiatan organisasi baik secara internal dan eksternal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis implementasi knowledge sharing, faktor pendukung dan penghambat, serta upaya peningkatan implementasi knowledge sharing yang dilakukan oleh NGO Malang Corruption Watch. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Pengumpulan data diperoleh melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Metode analisis data yang digunakan terdiri dari mengolah dan mempersiapkan data untuk dianalisis, membaca keseluruhan data, menganalisis dengan mengkoding data, menerapkan konsep koding, menunjukkan deskripsi dan tema disajikan kembali dalam narasi, dan menginterpretasi data. Hasil penelitian ini ialah pertama, kegiatan organisasi berupa berbagi pengetahuan telah dilakukan oleh NGO Malang Corruption Watch baik secara formal dan informal. Jika dianalisa menggunakan teori SECI, maka terdapat empat proses dalam implementasi berbagi pengetahuan di MCW yaitu sosialisasi (terdapat cara pengurus membangun suasana berbagi pengetahuan), eksternalisasi (terdapat notulensi sebagai bentuk eksternalisasi pengetahuan serta ahli dari luar organisasi sebagai sumber pengetahuan), kombinasi (di tahap ini berbagai jenis dokumen dapat dibentuk menjadi pengetahuan baru), dan internalisasi (di tahap ini pengurus memiliki cara untuk mempelajari pengetahuan baru). Kedua, dalam implementasi knowledge sharing terdapat faktor pendukung dan penghambat yang muncul dari faktor organisasional, individu, dan teknis. Adapun faktor pendukung tersebut yaitu budaya dan lingkungan organisasi, keberagaman karakter dan potensi SDM, serta dukungan sarana dan prasarana. Sedangkan penghambatnya yaitu lemahnya mekanisme rekrutmen SDM organisasi, serta kesibukan individu di luar organisasi. Ketiga, dalam peningkatan implementasi knowledge sharing, Malang Corruption Watch melakukan beberapa upaya peningkatan dari segi kualitas (peningkatan kapasitas pengetahuan), kuantitas (peningkatan intensitas kegiatan sharing), penambahan kemampuan, hingga pada pencapaian hasil

English Abstract

Knowledge can be obtained by someone through various sources and media, one of them is through Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs). Knowledge itself is divided into two types namely tacit and explicit knowledge. Both types of knowledge can be obtained by someone through the process of knowledge sharing. Malang Corruption Watch (MCW) is one of the NGOs in the Malang area that implements knowledge sharing processes in organizational activities both internally and externally. This study aims to describe and analyze the implementation of knowledge sharing, the supporting factors and inhibiting factors to the implementation of knowledge sharing, the efforts to improve the implementation of knowledge sharing conducted by NGOs Malang Corruption Watch. This type of research is a case study with a qualitative approach. Data collection was obtained through interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The data analysis method used consists of processing and preparing data for analysis, reading the entire data, analyzing by coding data, applying coding concepts, showing how the descriptions and themes are restated in the narrative, and interpreting the data. The results of this study are first, organizational activities in the form of knowledge sharing have been carried out by the Malang Corruption Watch NGO both formally and informally. Analized by SECI teory, there are four processes in the implementation of knowledge sharing in MCW, namely socialization (there is a way to build an atmosphere of sharing knowledge in NGOs), externalization (there are record of meeting as a form of externalization of knowledge and experts from outside the organization as a source of knowledge), combination (in this stage various types of documents can be formed into new knowledge), and internalization (in this stage the NGOs has a way to learn new knowledge). Second, in the implementation of knowledge sharing, there are supporting and inhibiting factors that arise from organizational, individual, and technical factors. The supporting factors are the culture and environment of the organization, the diversity of the character and potential of human resources, and support from facilities and infrastructure. The obstacle is the weakness of the organization's HR recruitment mechanism, and the busyness of the individuals outside the NGOs. Third, in increasing the implementation of knowledge sharing, Malang Corruption Watch has made several efforts to improve in terms of quality (increasing knowledge capacity), quantity (increasing the intensity of sharing activities), increasing abilities, and achieving results.
