Abstract

Ledakan wereng coklat (WBC) yang menyebabkan kerusakan tanaman padi akibat penggunaan insektisida dan bahan non-organik lainnya secara berlebihan, serta krisis ekonomi tahun 1998 dan kelangkaan pupuk pada tahun 1999, memotivasi para petani Sumber Kelompok Tani Makmur II untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut. Hal ini dilakukan dengan membudayakan pertanian organik berkelanjutan melalui program “Program Inovasi Desa Pertanian Organik” sejak tahun 2007 hingga sekarang. Namun, saat ini akses informasi dan pelatihan program inovasi pertanian organik pedesaan terganggu akibat pandemi Covid-19. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: untuk mengidentifikasi karakteristik petani yang tergabung dalam program inovasi desa pertanian organik di Kelompok Tani Sumber Makmur II, Dusun Barek, Desa Sumberngepoh, Kecamatan Lawang, Kabupaten Malang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: Untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi dan persepsi petani terhadap program inovasi desa pertanian organik, persepsi petani pada Kelompok Tani Sumber Makmur II, Dusun Barek, Desa Sumberngepoh, Kecamatan Lawang, Kabupaten Malang. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Penelitian dilakukan di Dusun Barek, Desa Sumberngepoh, Kecamatan Lawang, Kabupaten Malang. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik sensus sampling dalam menentukan responden dengan jumlah 77 petani. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan data primer (observasi; tertulis, wawancara terstruktur; survei kuesioner; pencatatan dan dokumentasi) dan data sekunder (daftar nama responden; keadaan umum lokasi penelitian; data yang dibutuhkan untuk penelitian dari penyuluh pertanian atau kelompok tani) . Karakteristik petani yang tergabung dalam Kelompok Tani Sumber Makmur II adalah berjenis kelamin laki-laki, dengan usia rata-rata 46-50 tahun. keseluruhan menikah, tingkat pendidikan rata-rata SMA, mata pencaharian sebagai petani, pendapatan Rp.25.000.000 -< Rp. 35.000.000 per tahun, rata-rata luas kepemilikan lahan 0,25 Ha, status kepemilikan lahan rata-rata milik sendiri, dan rata-rata tingkat pengalaman bertani selama 36-40 tahun paling mendominasi. Program Inovasi Desa Pertanian Organik pada Kelompok Tani Sumber Makmur II masih berjalan, mulai tahun 2007 hingga sekarang. Program ini telah membuat banyak perubahan pada kelompok tani, seperti mendapatkan sertifikasi organik dan halal, memiliki Rice Milling Unit, Dry Grain Floor dan Rice Outlet "Lumpang Berlian". Persepsi petani berdasarkan karakteristik inovasi, penyiapan bahan dan pemilihan media yang digunakan memiliki hasil yang sama yaitu sedang. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa sebagian besar petani merasa bahwa persepsi mereka biasa-biasa saja selama program ketika pandemi.

English Abstract

The explosion of the brown planthopper (WBC) that caused damage to rice plants due to the excessive use of insecticides and other non-organic materials, as well as the economic crisis in 1998 and the scarcity of fertilizers in 1999, motivated the farmers of Sumber Makmur II Farmers Group to solve the problem. This is done by cultivating sustainable organic agriculture through the program "Organic Farming Village Innovation Program" since 2007 until now. However, this time access to information and training of organic farming rural innovation program to be disrupted due to the pandemic Covid-19. The objectives of this study are: to identify the characteristics of farmers who are members of the organic farming village innovation program in the Sumber Makmur II Farmers Group, Barek Hamlet, Sumberngepoh Village, Lawang District, Malang Regency. The aims of this study are: To describe the implementation and perception of farmers on the organic farming village innovation program, farmers' perceptions of the Sumber Makmur II Farmers Group, Barek Hamlet, Sumberngepoh Village, Lawang District, Malang Regency. The study used descriptive analysis with a quantitative approach. The research was conducted in Barek Hamlet, Sumberngepoh Village, Lawang District, Malang Regency. The study used the census sampling technique in determining respondents with a total of 77 farmers. Data collection techniques used primary data (observation; written, structured interview; questionnaire survey; recording and documentation) and secondary data (list of names of respondents; general condition of the research location; data needed for research from agricultural extension workers or farmer groups). The characteristics of farmers who are members of the Sumber Makmur II Farmer Group are male, with an average age of 46-50 years. overall married, the average education level is high school, livelihood as a farmer, income Rp.25,000,000 -< Rp. 35,000,000 per year, the average land ownership area is 0.25 Ha, the average land ownership status is self-owned, and the average level of agricultural experience for 36-40 years is the most dominating. The Organic Farming Village Innovation Program at the Sumber Makmur II Farmer Group is still running, starting in 2007 until now. This program has made many changes to farmer groups, such as obtaining organic and halal certification, having a Rice Milling Unit, Dry Grain Floor and "Lumpang Berlian" Rice Outlet. Farmers' perceptions based on the characteristics of innovation, the preparation of materials and the selection of the media used have the same results, namely moderate. It can be concluded that s ost of farmers feel that their perceptions are plain ordinary during the program when a pandemic.
