English Abstract
In planning a multi-storey building, there are many factors that need to be considered, especially the safety factor in accordance with the function of the building to be used. One of them that needs to be considered is the land on which the structure will be built on and also what foundation will be designed for the building. As in the building at Widyagama University, there is a building that initially had 2 floors and was later built into 4 floors, then damaged the column due to the high swelling value of the soil. During the rainy season, the ground floor is flooded, causing damage to the column. Therefore, it is necessary to repair the foundation and design a foundation that can work well on the building so that it can remain strong to withstand the load on it. The analysis used in this study includes analysis of soil characteristics and soil parameters based on Sondir or CPT (Cone Penetration Test). To analyze the carrying capacity and also the decrease in the load on the building, it begins by calculating the loads including combined loads, axial loads, and earthquake loads with the help of SAP2000 software. The analysis was continued by calculating the potential bearing capacity of the soil axially using the Meyerhof method, Terzaghi method and calculations based on sondir/CPT. The next stage of this analysis is to design and calculate the load acting on the pile group foundation. This design stage is in the form of designing a pile configuration that includes the number of piles and the spacing between piles, and calculating the efficiency of the pile group foundation against the working load. In addition, it is continued by designing reinforcement, calculating settlement, and ending the analysis with calculating bearing capacity and settlement using PLAXIS 2D software. From the results of the analysis and calculations carried out, the results obtained that the bore pile foundation used is a bore pile with a diameter of 0.5 m with a length of 6 m, using 8D19 longitudinal reinforcement and D13-100mm spiral reinforcement. The largest load resulting from calculations on the SAP2000 software is 1913,681 kN while the largest drop in the bore pile foundation with manual calculations is 9.02 cm, and using PLAXIS 2D software is 9.37 cm.
