Abstract
Literatur anak merupakan alat yang dapat menunjang proses pembelajaran pada lembaga pendidikan di Indonesia. Bentuk dari literatur anak tidak hanya seperti bahan bacaan berupa buku ataupun kertas melainkan literatur anak dapat berbentuk alat peraga (apparatus). Salah satu metode pembelajaran yang menggunakan apparatus dalam kegiatan pembelajarannya yaitu metode montessori. Metode montessori sendiri merupakan metode pembelajaran yang dimana menggunakan literatur anak yang disebut dengan apparatus montessori untuk menunjang proses pembelajarannya. Salah satu lembaga pendidikan yang telah menerapkan metode pembelajaran montessori yaitu Saint Joseph Montessori School Malang, dimana sekolah tersebut telah menyediakan berbagai literatur anak yang berupa apparatus montessori dan literatur anak lain guna menunjang metode pembelajaran tersebut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah (1) Untuk mendeskripsikan literatur anak metode montessori yang disediakan di Saint Joseph Montessori School Malang (2) Untuk menganalisis pengaruh literatur anak metode montessori terhadap perkembangan kognitif anak dengan menggunakan metode montessori di Saint Joseph Montessori School Malang. Menganalisis yang dimaksud pada penelitian ini yaitu menganalisis identifikasi literatur anak metode montessori, analisis swot dari pengaruh literatur anak metode montessori terhadap perkembangan kognitif anak, dan strategi literatur anak metode montessori dalam pengembangan kognitif anak di Saint Joseph Montessori School Malang. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan fakta bahwa literatur anak metode montessori memiliki pengaruh terhadap perkembangan kognitif anak di Saint Joseph Montessori School Malang. Selain itu, fakta lainnya ialah matriks SWOT dimana menghasilkan strategi yaitu untuk menyempurnakan literatur anak metode montessori dalam meningkatkan perkembangan kognitif anak serta meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia pada Saint Joseph Montessori School Malang agar lebih dapat memahami manajemen strategi dalam meningkatkan perkembangan kognitif anak menggunakan metode montessori dan meningkatkan strategi yang berbeda dengan lembaga pendidikan lainnya dalam hal meningkatkan perkembangan kognitif anak
English Abstract
Children's literature is a tool that can support the learning process in educational institutions in Indonesia. The form of children's literature is not only like reading material in the form of books or paper but children's literature can be in the form of props (apparatus). One of the learning methods that use apparatus in its learning activities is montessori method. Montessori method itself is a learning method that uses children's literature called apparatus montessori to support the learning process. One of the educational institutions that has implemented montessori learning methods is Saint Joseph Montessori School Malang, where the school has provided a variety of children's literature in the form of montessori apparatus and other children's literature to support the learning method. The purpose of this study is (1) To describe the literature of montessori method children provided at Saint Joseph Montessori School Malang (2) To analyze the influence of montessori method children's literature on children's cognitive development using montessori method at Saint Joseph Montessori School Malang. Analyzing what is meant in this study is analyzing the identification of children's literature montessori method, swot analysis of the influence of montessori method children's literature on children's cognitive development, and strategy of children's literature montessori method in child cognitive development at Saint Joseph Montessori School Malang. The results of this study provide the fact that the children's literature montessori method has an influence on the cognitive development of children at Saint Joseph Montessori School Malang. In addition, another fact is the SWOT matrix which produces a strategy that is to improve the children's literature montessori method in improving the cognitive development of children and improve the quality of human resources at Saint Joseph Montessori School Malang in order to better understand the management of strategies in improving children's cognitive development using montessori methods and improving strategies that are different from other educational institutions in terms of improving children's cognitive development.
