Abstract
Gagal jantung adalah penyakit kronis yang umumnya diderita oleh sebagian besar penduduk di dunia termasuk di Indonesia. Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta mendapatkan peringkat lima belas dengan angka rawat inap gagal jantung hampir 2000 orang. Berdasarkan hasil studi pendahuluan didapatkan hasil bahwa angka kunjungan pasien gagal jantung terbanyak yaitu 232 pasien di Kabupaten Sleman berada di Puskesmas Gamping II. Pasien tidak pernah mendapatkan edukasi tentang gagal jantung dan manajemen perawatan diri di Puskesmas Gamping II. Pelaksanaan penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan tingkat efikasi diri pasien gagal jantung sebelum dan sesudah diberikan edukasi menggunakan Aplikasi Pengingat Jantung Anda (PENTUNGAN) di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Gamping II. Desain penelitian ini yaitu quasi eksperimen. Terdapat kedua kelompok di penelitian ini yang terdiri dari 18 orang masing-masing kelompok. Kedua kelompok dilakukan pre-test, lalu diberikan edukasi menggunakan leaflet pada kelompok kontrol dan Aplikasi PENTUNGAN pada kelompok intervensi. Kedua kelompok dilakukan post test satu bulan kemudian. Instrumen yang digunakan di penelitian ini yaitu Cardiac Self Efficacy Scale (CSES). Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan yaitu non probability sampling dengan pendekatan purposive sampling. Hasil uji normalitas dan homogenitas diperoleh hasil bahwa nilai signifikansi dari keseluruhan data >0.05, artinya seluruh data di penelitian ini bersifat normal dan homogen. Uji statistik menggunakan paired t-test diperoleh p= 0,00 atau <0.05 pada kedua kelompok, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan tingkat efikasi diri yang signifikan sebelum dan sesudah diberikan edukasi pada kedua kelompok baik kontrol maupun intervensi.
English Abstract
Heart failure is a chronic disease that is commonly suffered by the majority of the world's population, including in Indonesia. The Special Region of Yogyakarta is ranked fifteenth with a heart failure hospitalization rate of nearly 2000 people. Based on the results of the preliminary study, it was found that the highest number of visits by heart failure patients, namely 232 patients in Sleman Regency, was at the Puskesmas Gamping II. It was also found that the patients in Puskesmas Gamping II never received education about heart failure and self-care management. The purpose of this study was to determine the difference in the level of self-efficacy of heart failure patients before and after being given education using the Pengingat Jantung Anda (PENTUNGAN) application in the working area of the Puskesmas Gamping II The design of this research is quasi-experimental. There were two groups in this study consisting of 18 people in each group. Both groups were pre-tested, then given education using leaflets in the control group and the PENTUNGAN application in the intervention group. Both groups were given a post-test one month later. The instrument used in this study is the Cardiac Self Efficacy Scale (CSES). The sampling technique used was non-probability sampling with a purposive sampling approach. The results of the normality and homogeneity test showed that the significance value of the overall data was > 0.05, meaning that all the data in this study were normal and homogeneous. Statistical test using paired t-test obtained p = 0.00 or < 0.05 in both groups, so it can be concluded that there is a significant difference in the level of self-efficacy before and after being given education in both control and intervention groups.
