Abstract

Hipertensi menjadi salah satu faktor utama penyebab terjadinya penyakit kardiovaskular dan dapat berakibat fatal jika tidak segera ditangani. Sebanyak 1,13 milyar orang di dunia menderita hipertensi, dimana satu dari lima orang mengalami hipertensi tidak terkontrol. Pada pasien hipertensi memerlukan pengukuran tekanan darah secara berkala untuk mencegah terjadinya tekanan darah tidak terkontrol yang menyebabkan penyakit yang lebih berat. Kemajuan teknologi digital di sektor kesehatan memungkinkan pelayanan kesehatan dilakukan dalam jarak jauh, termasuk dalam hal monitoring tekanan darah. Hal tersebut dapat memudahkan tim kesehatan memantau langsung kondisi pasien tanpa harus bertatap muka secara langsung. Home Blood Pressure Telemonitoring (HBPT) memungkinkan transmisi data jarak jauh tentang tekanan darah pasien dan status kesehatan tambahan dari rumah ke sarana kesehatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh HBPT oleh apoteker terhadap keberhasilan terapi pasien hipertensi. Desain penelitian ini adalah systematic literature review dengan menggunakan 4 artikel berbahasa Inggris dengan kriteria mengenai penelitian terkait Home HBPT oleh apoteker dalam meningkatkan keberhasilan terapi pasien hipertensi. 3 artikel berasal database Google Scholar dan 1 artikel berasal dari database crossref. Desain penelitian berupa 3 artikel randomized clinical trial serta 1 artikel pilot study. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan keberhasilan HBPT pada pasien hipertensi yang ditandai dengan perbaikan tekanan darah. Hal tersebut karena intensitas dalam pemantauan lebih teratur dibandingkan dengan perawatan biasa yang membutuhkan pasien untuk datang langsung ke sarana kesehatan. Penelitian lebih lanjut mengenai cost analysis HBPT sehingga dapat diketahui keefektifan dari segi biaya dibandingkan dengan keberhasilan dari metode tersebut perlu dilakukan.

English Abstract

Hypertension is one of the main factors causing cardiovascular disease and can be fatal if not treated immediately. As many as 1.13 billion people in the world suffer from hypertension, where one in five people has uncontrolled hypertension. Hypertensive patients require regular blood pressure measurements to prevent uncontrolled blood pressure from causing more severe disease. Advances in digital technology in the health sector allow health services to be carried out remotely, including in terms of blood pressure monitoring. This can make it easier for the health team to directly monitor the patient's condition without having to meet face to face. This study aims to determine the effect of HBPT by pharmacists on the success of therapy for hypertensive patients. The design of this study was a systematic literature review using 4 articles in English with criteria regarding research related to HBPT by pharmacists in increasing the success of therapy for hypertensive patients. 3 articles from Google Scholar database and 1 article from crossref database. The research design consisted of 3 randomized clinical trial articles and 1 pilot study article. The results showed the success of HBPT in hypertensive patients which was characterized by improvement in blood pressure. This is because the intensity of monitoring is more regular compared to ordinary care which requires patients to come directly to health facilities. Further research on HBPT regarding cost analysis so that it can be seen in terms of cost effectiveness compared to the success of the method needs to be carried out.
