Abstract
Stunting merupakan masalah kesehatan nasional yang dapat berakibat pada penurunan produktifitas negara di waktu yang akan datang. Masalah yang berakibat pada penurunan fungsi kognitif dan ditandai dengan keterlambatan pertumbuhan dapat dicegah dengan edukasi Kesehatan secara tepat. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat pemahaman kader kesehatan dan ibu PKK tentang pencegahan stunting sebelum dan sesudah pelatihan. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain quasi eksperimental dimana peneliti menggunakan Model Non equivalen control group untuk mengetahui pemahaman kader kesehatan dan ibu PKK sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan pelatihan dengan alat berupa kuesioner. Sampel setiap kelompok diambil secara purposive sampling dengan jumlah 20 orang setiap kelompok. Hasil dianalisa statistik menggunakan aplikasi SPSS. Hasil dan Pembahasan: Kelompok intervensi yang mengikuti pelatihan menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan secara significant dibanding kelompok kontrol yang dibuktikan dengan hasil uji Independent T test perbedaan pretest posttest dengan nilai p= 0.00009. Sesi small group discussion menunjukkan peningkatan tingkat keaktifan dari peserta serta peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi setelah 2 kali uji coba. Sebagian peserta merasa mendapatkan manfaat dari mengikuti kegiatan dan selama pelatihan kendala terbesar berupa masalah koneksi. Kesimpulan: Pelatihan berhasil untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan kader Kesehatan dan ibu PKK tentang stunting.
English Abstract
Stunting is a national health problem that can result in a decrease in the country's potential productivity. This condition results in a decrease of individual cognitive function and are characterized by growth retardation that can be prevented by proper health education. This study aims to determine the level of understanding of health cadres and PKK mothers about stunting prevention before and after training. This study used a quasi-experimental design where the researcher used the Non-equivalent control group model to determine the understanding of health cadres and PKK mothers before and after training with a questionnaire. The sample of each group was taken by purposive sampling with a total of 20 people in each group. The results were analyzed statistically using the SPSS application. The intervention group that took part in the training showed a significant increase in knowledge compared to the control group as evidenced by the results of the Independent T test of the difference between the pretest and the posttest with a p value of 0.00009. The small group discussion session showed an increase in the level of activeness of the participants as well as an increase in communication skills after 2 trials. Most participants felt that they benefited from participating in the activities and during the training the biggest obstacle was connection problems. The training was successful in increasing the knowledge of Health cadres and PKK mothers about stunting.
