Abstract

Perkembangan pubertas pada anak harus diiringi dengan pemberian informasi tentang kesehatan reproduksi. Fenomena saat ini menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan dan perilaku menjaga kesehatan reproduksi remaja laki-laki lebih rendah dibandingkan remaja perempuan. Sehingga peran orang tua sangat dibutuhkan dalam memberikan pendidikan kesehatan reproduksi pada anak agar lebih siap menghadapi pubertasnya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis hubungan peran orang tua dalam pendidikan kesehatan reproduksi dengan kesiapan menghadapi pubertas siswa laki-laki (usia 10-12 tahun) di SDN Sananwetan 02 Kota Blitar. Penelitian ini merupakan studi korelasi melalui pendekatan observasional analitik dengan menggunakan teknik Stratified Random Sampling yang diambil dalam satu waktu (cross-sectional study). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dari 75 responden didapatkan, 55 responden (73,3%) menyatakan orangtua sangat berperan dalam pendidikan kesehatan reproduksi dan 59 responden (78,7%) cukup siap menghadapi pubertas. Analisis data menggunakan Spearman (Rho) dengan nilai signifikansi p value (0,004) < (0,05) dapat diartikan adanya hubungan peran orang tua dalam pendidikan kesehatan reproduksi dengan kesiapan menghadapi pubertas siswa. Kesimpulan didapatkan bahwa ada hubungan antara peran orang tua dalam pendidikan kesehatan reproduksi dengan kesiapan menghadapi pubertas siswa laki-laki (usia 10-12 tahun) di SDN Sananwetan 02 Kota Blitar. Disarankan bagi orang tua untuk memberikan pendidikan kesehatan reproduksi sesuai dengan usia anak serta bagi perawat diharapkan dapat memberikan edukasi pada orang tua dan guru tentang pendidikan kesehatan reproduksi anak.

English Abstract

The development of puberty in children must be accompanied by providing information about reproductive health. The current phenomenon shows that the knowledge and behavior of maintaining reproductive health for male adolescents are lower than female adolescents. So that the role of parents is needed in providing reproductive health education to children so that they are better prepared for puberty. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between the role of parents in reproductive health education with the readiness to face puberty for male students (aged 10-12 years) at SDN Sananwetan 02, Blitar City. This research is a correlation study through an analytic observational approach using a stratified random sampling technique that is taken at one time (cross-sectional study). Based on the results of research from 75 respondents, 55 respondents (73.3%) stated that parents play a very important role in reproductive health education and 59 respondents (78.7%) were quite ready to face puberty. Data analysis using Spearman (Rho) with a significance value of p-value (0.004)<(0.05) means that there is a relationship between the role of parents in reproductive health education and the readiness to face puberty for male students. The conclusion is that there is a relationship between the role of parents in reproductive health education with the readiness to face puberty for male students (aged 10-12 years) at SDN Sananwetan 02, Blitar City. It is recommended for parents to provide reproductive health education according to the child's age and nurses are expected to provide education to parents and teachers about children's reproductive health.
